Missing

This day, less days
This mind, less a flood
This life, less a field
Heart’s winter fades
Colors resuscitate
Time is normalcy’s friend
Yet it can’t expunge
This heart’s fondness

November

NOVEMBER

November saying hi
October says bye
Valediction for succession
Enter like a magician
Moving things from best
Bringing them to your chest
Edit and expunge the worst
Rewrite the trailed test

If I Am a Wonder Woman

would implant an occult chip within folks mind to expunge evil scourge

I'M Tempted To Press Delete

I’m tempted to press delete
And erase my every memory of you
I wrote these words for you
They are not permanent
A click of the button
Obliterates those scripts
If it was that easy
To expunge you from my mind
You’d already be gone

Blind

Bringing out the light from the dark
Expunge evil from a makers mark

God cleanse it, the deftness aptly applied
Dumbness and deafness, captured astride

Too daft to get it, to pray, instead let it
Too deep inside, eating, without the wit

To see the honest truth
See yourself to the booth

Expunge

expunge
eliminate
eradicate
memories of you
from existence
is proving to be
easier said than done
it appears that even
when i think that i
have removed all
memories of you
from my mind
they end up popping
up again and again
in the most unexpected
ways imaginable

Don'T Itch

Don’t Itch You’re stronger than this You know what’s going to happen when you itch it It’s just going to itch again! There’s no point in itching it You’ll never beat it! Resist the urge! It’s all in your head You only hold you’re itchy You only know you’ll stay itchy You can expunge these thoughts

Memories

Memories, Oh! Memories,
Colossal pain, escorts you.
Memories, Oh! Memories,
Hard I try to expunge you.

You befriend my past,
And make me cry.
Impairing my hopes,
My future you spy.

Memories, Oh! Memories,
Forget me, and let me rest.
Memories, Oh! Memories,
Leave, let me live with zest

Pacifism

PACIFISM

Peace will get only through pacifism.
Amity may resulting the nation's unity.
Cessation of war can emerge the peace.
Immoral weeds like ethnisity must expunge.
Fighting is not the only way for dispute.
Impassivity leads to demise the people.
Serenity of nation induce jocund of populace.
Mayhem must eface and -

Let the peace must grow in the nation.

I'Ve Been Blessed

I cherish mornings
Before the world wakes up,
And news crowds my head
Demanding attention;

Intermingled thoughts of others
Oft fills my cup,
As I expunge those
Unworthy of mind's retention;

The quietness allows thoughts
To freely travel,
Recalling events
That became life changing tests;

At times it seemed my life
Would suddenly unravel,
But through it all I have to say,
I've been blessed.

Autumn's Wild Rooster

Gloaming is wont to quell
the ginger smoke,
expunge the crimson flames
that surround the mill.
Lilac shadows encroach
to cloak the hull's mossy patina.
Autumn's wild rooster,
struts its brash plumage
among fallen shingles and rotted planks
until a black hawk soars,
eclipsing feral zinnias' embers
just as calliope chimes
of a fallen carousel
disappear in taloned pine air.

Would you allow me to argue
In the end so as to agree;
To bear with my “warped” view
To analyse “holy” decree?
Would you deny me a chance
To free my mind and express
To liberate my soul with dance
I might feature in the Press;
For, keys on creativity’s gate
Are Argument and Debates?
With self we argue or deliberate
To expunge all that conflates!

Total Surrender

Total Surrender Written: by Miracle Man 2-12-2020 In Nineteen Sixty-Eight I took the plunge, No longer wishing my sin to conceal. Trusting God, that He, would my sin expunge, I was dried out clay on the potters wheel. Words that crept into my ears defiled soul, Adding to the sin debt that God carried. God took my cancer and I was made whole, He removed any need to feel harried.

Unruffled

Was I sane ?
Like poetry infiltrating,
when you were eating grass ?
And money was walking free.

The hollow eyes
had the moral authority
to expunge the fidelity from the
book. Are the blue needles

hurting you, I was asking moon ?
Moon’s stony eyes started
watering. Strangers in bed, the
trust had a different taste, another smell.

Words were loaded, they were
going to start beheading a tender song.

Neurotic

My head is swirling with a million thoughts.
Wondering are they coming to get me?
What will I do if I get caught?
I can not go yet I am too young.
I will never surrender to the likes of you.
You are the filth that I have been trying to forget.
You are the abscess that I want to expunge.
You are the reason I am in the state I am in.
I do not care what happens but you will not control me any longer.
Maybe I am neurotic but at least I am not psychotic like you.

One Step Forward

One step forward, two steps back –
That’s the way I function.
There is something that I lack
When I am at the junction

Of making a decision
Which will finalize a plan,
No matter the precision
Since my research first began.

It’s like I’m on a diving board,
Afraid to take the plunge,
My hesitancy like a cord
My body can’t expunge.

And yet I search and plan and hope
My M.O. might just change
And I can shed that binding rope
And step-wise, rearrange.

Feline Problem

Feline problems

The pride behind the sofa leaning against a wall
Are new-born puppies their mother tries to
Hide from me as I should care, but I wonder
How to get rid of them, a bucket of water?

You can’t see how old a dolphin is when it swims
I have never seen one with sagging skin.

Resolving the cat problem give me a headache
Obtuse is my thoughts on how to kill humanly?
Self-doubt was overtaking by pity for the kittens
Expunge them not possible, seven cats’ meows.

A Party Called Life

Bouncing off Sara Kendrick’s List:

The tap show on the kitchen floor.
Busy, wasn’t keeping score.
For the error to expunge.
Daughter’s friend, I handed a sponge.

A going away party - fun!
Ice cream sundaes, not in the sun.
Not a great idea indoors.
Kids started a food flight - a war.

The bedroom door knocked on and down.
My son must fix - send in the clowns.
My husband knocks later - it falls.
Fix failed with huge nails through the wall.
