Floating, inviting,

Just one small drop
Created an expanding ring
That went on and did not stop

The sun rises
We start a brand new day
Another challenge to face
As we go forward in every way
We put ourselves to the test
In order to get better
Expanding our horizons
To make our visions sharper
Bang bang
pipes expanding
Kids awaking
an early morning
Turned down the dial
for a peaceful night
An extra hour
no such delight
It made no difference
why did I bother
I'm still grumpy
just even colder

A tyrant of a pimple,
Looking to be simple…

Intending her young skin to rumple
And her peace crumple:
All- too- overshadowed her dimple.
