Exorcism

you haunt my dreams
and my waking hours
ever present
I need an exorcism
will that rid you
eradicate you
maybe from my mind
but not my heart

Grace the Purge

PORCELAIN SKIN
STAINED
RUNS BRIGHT RED
COVERS A SILENT SCREAM
GHOSTS TRICKLE OUT
BLEED ONTO YOU
RUNS OUT OF ME
LIKE EXORCISM
FOR AWHILE
ALL IS WELL.

I Feel Threatened by ThisCathedral

gargoyle friendly
dark cathedral with arches
Victorian glass

attracts vampires
priest performs exorcism
adjoining graveyard

hair stands up on arms
eerie silence from this place
I feel threatened

State of the Disunion

--- merely bourgeois so-called collective Western world:

time for another election, "fair and free"?

From the way things look,

one would almost think that

an exorcism would be more helpful ...

Spring Is the Brother of Winter

destroying the syntax
of the intelligent soul
sacrificial rites of intellect
sacramentals of exorcism
packs of savaged dogs
roaming the streets of truth
spring is the pleasant
brother of winter
where is the demon

Learning

A form of exorcism in schools,
Done by modern magicians
trained in unique ways in colleges
To remove Beelzebub of ignorance,
Hidden in learners’ head; and
Those who see Beelzebub escaping shout;
Teacher, teacher, teacher…...!

Hotel Hell

Un-glorified,
These strangers.

And stinky,
foreign seed
down my throat.

And on camera
To make matters
Worse, evidence
of my
Perversion.

And enticing,
but disgusting
And how so
Simultaneously.

An exorcism
Is not out of the
Question.

Fluid Lines

From distractions to illusions
Purity to vanity
Curiosity to jealousy
Apathy to bitterness
Anger to loathing
Beauty to ugliness
Lines that can’t be re-crossed
Transformations requiring exorcism

Exorcism

“It’s hard to eat ****, without having visions,
& when they have eyes for me it’s Heaven.”
~ Allen Ginsberg, “Malest Cornifici Tuo Catullo” (1955)

Begone bland corporate effigy
Woman bearing
Little
Hint of satisfied smile
Thank God
There were no good old days
    ~ Thanks always returns

exorcism of parasites

sitting in a river of ghosts
watching regrets flow
through the red evening sky
in smoke scented clouds.
the warmth of the air
eclipses the coldness of memories shivering
in the viscosity of the conscious mind.
tidal waves of created illusions
shattered by the power of being;
the dark of the light
lifted by dragonfly wings.

Chained

A soul so chained it dragged the weight
Through the graveyard to the vast estate
Into a life money bound
Pretensious living their great crown
Money their god and baptism
Soul chained by materialism
No longer life of the party
Caught between life and death..bungee
Chained soul needs an exorcism
To free from consumerism

possibly unfinished

Exorcism - Landay

Entity within our auric field
Seeks love and light rather than the sword we choose to wield

Judging not we outpour love divine
Cajoling the thought form with God to gently align

Love as the only real vibration
Each lifetron complete on choosing resonation

Yet the choice must be voluntary
Thus love nudges gently in stillness sedentary

Distorted Discourse Part 2

DISTORTED DISCOURSE part 2

Rebirth of confused killers through media worship
Destruction of family dynamics by kindergarten logic
Control of mental growth through obscene knowledge
Release of intrusive emotions through accidental euphoria
Realization of subconscious alienation by disturbed miracles
Exorcism of creative thought from detached monotony
Confirmation of spiritual poverty through intentional neglect

The Curious Coif

Enigmatically stubborn to style, the coif
Some days it can be easily pulled off
Other days it requires an exorcism
Like Zoolander it can look like ‘Magnum’

Hides my receding hairline like a charm
Sophistication to my head’s yardarm
Its antidote is a very windy day
Requiring heavy doses of hairspray

When it works my lady wants to stroke it
I recoil in fear, making her remit
For a single finger can ruin it
It’s a fickle angel to babysit

Time Crossing

When I hold the pen,
it trembles in my hand; the poem.

The catharsis.
Zero minus, to no to everything
against the main stream.
You start kinking.

Gawking ?
Every night I carry my glitches
to bed, to fight my demons.
Falteringly, you speak:
it should not have happened.
The genetic aberration ?

Nudges the crass exhibition
of alphabets of exorcism.
You invoke the dumb gods, who will
not vacate the accelerandos.

Reanalyze My Exorcism

I am the smudge in gods artwork
The rip in the wrong place
Step before me
face your choices
kill or turn
because choices i have none
The maniac behind the eyes
Scaring death to death
Brutality shudders below my gaze
Running from birth
Could not fly until i took flight
Shakespeare take a seat
The freaks about to bleat
Turning the mad sane
Use your words and change my shape
List my flaws to prove your cause
Speak, if you can
What are you

Exorcism

Hold your hands
In incantation,
Let them fondle and soothe
These throes that
Overgrow in my heart.
I long for your incantations
Like the beaker
Overflows.
This rending thirst
I need to quench.
Forage throughout my essence
And deliver me from love.
Deliver me from guilt,
Rescue my core
From possession.

I, this barren she of feelings,
No longer want to think
Of desire,
From love I wish
To be evicted.

Exorcism

He rolled on the ground erratically,
as though his body was filled with
embers. Villagers gathered around him,
some whose mouths were agape.
Another child of the sun
had been accused
of interacting with a water
sprout, a domain which was reserved
only for the gods. The elders had
initially agreed the boy would be excommunicated
deep into the
wilderness, but his mother pleaded,
in the midst of tears. Quitting
exorcism was out of question.

Mrs Poet

I rise at the crack of dawn
push-ups with a weight
of ideas – rhymes with my
eggs; a slice of daily bread,
no juice, it gives me heartburn,
so I go right to the ink --

in a manic frenzy
you will find me scratching
and reciting –
               the cat tilts
curiously; the dog whimpers
neglect – my wife is on
the phone again with the
parish priest, still wrapped
in a towel, insisting he
come over, as is,
and begin an exorcism she
saw on You Tube....

My Demons

Throwing your rum
Against an X’s wall
Shows what I’ve become
As I pass out in my hall

Shedding alcohol tears
Is quite a sign
Losing my life is a fear
I’m falling behind

My kids are asleep
I love them with my all
Though they silently weep
At their father’s fall

But I don’t want to stop
You know this alcoholism
Is my final drop
To what is one hell of an exorcism

So my demons are gone
But the memory does maul
Tonight I sleep on the lawn
With my stars I stall

Haunted

His agonized inhabited mind haunted
by peaceless imaginative thought,
extremely distressed, his spirit daunted
with severe revelations of supernatural
phenomenon, so distorted caricatural
features indescribable by the untaught,

exorcism perceived as emotional relief
for his tormented mind created by him,
comforted by his faith and strong belief
miraculous event now urgently desired
penance to alleviate his guilt required,
tormented by ghostly sight of his victim.
