Whene'er it doth seem the fierce tempest rage -
Know thee then beloved, anon sails thy double wage.
Be thou gay in cruellest wind that doth blow -
For exercised therein thy strenght is blessed to grow.
Thy wit
Is as gold
That through most cruellest
Heat
must go.
Take ahold
Of thy mustard faith.
The throne awaits
He that will be brave...
Huge self-control projected never waned
The silent students exercised wise brains
Chitter-chatter with grand strength restrained.
Surprisingly, not one of them complained.
Some freely chose to study, wisdom reigned.
And so it was until no time remained
By choosing thus, they earned my great respect.

I used to diet.
Wrote down every crumb I put into my mouth.
Drank twelve glasses of water a day.
Wrote them down too.
Exercised an hour a day at Curves.
Got buff.
Found muscles I did not know I had.
Looked like a coach in my legs.
Barely remember any of that now.
As I reach for my chips and dip
after sucking down three Hershey bars
and drinking two liters of cream soda.
Happier now
fluffier too
