Notes About The Poem

Climbing Stairs

Climbing Stairs

Resolve won’t do it
anymore. Used to be

a closed fist could
scale anything.

Should have exercised more.

Falling down stairs is no fun either. Take it from old battered daver, your companion in old age. Congrats on the selection. Love

So clever, so simple, so unique... Each word is of maximum importance because of the shortness of the piece. BRILLIANT!!! Love, Keith
