Best Wishes

A necklace of flowers
      to soften sadness
      that torments you ...
      A bouquet of silences
      to defuse tears
      that assaults you ...
      An outburst of joy
      to evict yours
      bitterness ....
      A fresh love for
      shut everyone up
the traces of cold memories ...!

Lead the Way

Let the world go its own way
Evict the words that others say
Absolutely no one tells you what to do
Don't let others define you

They all think they know the way
Having no experience to say
Everything will be just fine

Whether or not you walk that line
Always remember what I say
You are the one who should LEAD THE WAY

World War 3

The third world war has already begun.
This time it’s humans versus planet earth.
Having failed to treat all life forms as one,
we’ve abused Mother, who’s given us birth
and so unless we come here now undone,
She’ll evict us since thin has worn Her mirth.
We’re Her guest but know not how to behave,
callousness digging thereby, mankind’s grave.

Good and Evil

Good,

                  God’s presence in Man

           For safeguarding the divine plan

 Of harmonious collaboration and coexistence

           Which, regrettably, people evict

                 Replacing it with vicious

                               Evil!

The Real State Real Estate

When your only home is your body
a home that took a lifetime to build
with your own blood your mortar
bound with your own bruises brick by brick
when you are cut and measured by your parents
but still find a piece of fertile land
on which to build your home and tend a garden
with the sweat and tears of friends
to have the state tear up your deed
and evict you like you never lived

The Spring Never Dies

In the scorching summer
The lily died
I did pour the moisture
The death kept untied

Some dry bulbs kept jutting
I didn't evict them
At the advent of the spring
They sprang the green gems

Last night in the life spree
The long pod opened up pink
The lady of the balcony
The alphabets with the love ink

The time sometimes cries
The spring never dies

Under the Shed

Under the shed is a groundhog,
Living without my consent.
Once in a while he emerges;
His presence I’ve come to resent.

Likely he’s dug a deep burrow
And most of the time he’s away.
I don’t think that I can evict him;
It seems like he’s planning to stay.

In previous years we’ve had foxes,
With kits that would frolic and romp,
But this year we’re stuck with a groundhog,
Whose lumbering gait’s more a clomp.

Thoughts

Sitting here waiting for the time to past
I can't help but to think what it is you are doing at this moment
Is this wrong for these thoughts of you to be in my head
Right or wrong they are here
And I dare not evict them
For these thoughts are of happiness and adventure
These are the type of thoughts I need around me
Thoughts of you are all I have until our paths cross again
So these thoughts are forever in my head

Original Form

If you are a poet
You already know it,
To words you forever are bound.
Your brain has them in there,
You must make them clear.
They're music without any sound.

You didn't pick them,
You cannot evict them.
They just keep rolling around.
They'll stay in your head,
You can't put them to bed,
Until you have written them down.

Free

I'm going down silently
Could it be
I'm lost in a masquerade?
Sounds of laughter, joy, and humor abound
filling the air with harmony
but its intagibility
leaves me untouched
much
as thoughts, emotions, regret
evict any remnants of glee,
understandably,
I fall deeper within me
silently
battling negativity
like Frazier battled Ali
I am enough and more
than this feeling
swarming me
Prayer

Impoverishment

In a few days, the rent is due.
Maybe my landlord does not know,
Postponing the obvious blow,
Or, delaying my outdoor view.
Visitors spew residents who
Evict themselves, due to no dough,
Rather than let compassion show,
Instantly stepping in my shoe.
Sooner or later, he will come
Here, expecting to get the rent.
Meanwhile, I will keep playing dumb,
Each time I am given a hint.
Now, I really feel like a bum,
Trying to savor my last cent.

The Mirage

Do my eyes deceive me
Is that the sun behind the rain?
Merely a mirage through sand and dust clouds
Which hide me from my pain

I abstain

Because to say all of what I feel
Reminds me of the circumstance
Which makes my life feel real

So I close my eyes to find a place
Where judges make a purpose
To evict those from minds space

Until then I must stress
And live this days distress
While writing all the ways
To cope with all this mess

Unwelcome Guest

Unwelcome Guests (Arthritis, Bursitis, Tendonitis, Gout) Miracle Man 10-11-2023 The “rItis” boys came to visit, and their welcome overstayed. My futile efforts to evict them, they always downplayed. Arth, Burs, and Tendon, that very unpleasant three. Were always reluctant to leave, before the ravaging of me. For pain I gave each points, on occasion they brought a shout. They all attacked my joints, but none compared to Gout.

Summer Rispetto

Its summertime, yea, it's party, raving time! Always say no to drugs, evict the dealers! Get off my head on rock, hip-hop, jazz, all fine! Tumble, a rumble, oh, just a few reelers. A shout out, a Mexican wave, say your mine! Come, let's move our bodies, crazy teenagers! Dusk, a cool zephyr, light now low, smooching slow. Someone hits the volume, trance, I start to glow!
