A vice enthroned in one's heart

Keeps the Man from God apart!

VERY STRANGE IS POETRY

      poetry, fleeting verses
    first they arrive and enchant
     then they settle and leave
     if they are not enthroned

The world's misery will not cease unless peace and love are enthroned in our hearts!

Lost Words

Those thoughts not adopted
  and orphaned alone

To never have surnames
  —all bastards enthroned

Intellectual Aids

Academic Immune Deficiency,
the intellect under attack

Those powered to know, ivory towers enthroned,
dialectic—its meaning hijacked

waxing

at her sidelong glance
sun, fear of falling in love
blushes hides and sets

full

enthroned blissfully
on chariot of fair lambs
in her bridal charm

waning

rubbing shoulders with
the hard haughty hazy sky
she grows weak and thin

Bison's Demise

In all that crowd
To die alone
The guns so loud
The massive bone
Crumbling neath weight
Of flesh and death
And without hate
Made the worst yet
Hearing just glee
A glimpse of grass
Bowed to its knee
And great life pass
All bisons gone
And man alone
Is left enthroned
To die alone.

Time Dethroned

Does memory store from front to back,
or more like side to side

Do childhood dreams seem closer now,
than yesterdays goodbye

Does memory scorn all month and year,
a dimension of its own

Remembering best what matters most
—defying time enthroned

Immortal Queen Elizabeth Ii

Your life's twilight on a
September evening came.
And ferried you were by
crimson cherubs; conveyed
in splendour on a celestial
cruise, to gates pleasant for
a permanent reign.
Your reign on the throne
on a September autumn
exited,
but your indelible legacy
in the hearts of Brits
is enthroned gloriously.

Premium Member Chiron of Centaurus

Chiron the wise centaur wounded and in agony was enthroned in the sky by Zeus - spared pain for being kind. Chiron half-man, half-beast had more the heart of a god - so from his own gateway of stars shines down forevermore. Five Little Souls

Five Little Souls

In this house
even the bathroom’s
a place of no peace.

I huddle there Sundays
enthroned with whatever
they’ve left of the paper.

Off the door, the great blitz:
rubber balls, little fists,
soles of bare feet.

Unamused, still perusing,
I sit there refusing
to vacate my sanctum.

Blitz your bare feet!

When the golden sun sets over a horizon
Mirrors inside glittering with reflections

Sparkling Underneath the realm of possibilities
Far away drifting oasis upon a cloud called nine

Where heaven holds the creation’s seat
Kneeling before lashes fold

Enthroned by your light breathing through clouds
Beneath adoring rays crowned by the Aura of beauty

Royalty

ROYALTY: VELENTINO PHIRI our Grandfather
From a place of refuge he trekked
to the peripheral of the throne
rightfully his
"Moses on the verge of Canaan..."

Endowed with a rare talent
potent of perfecting the art
that built pyramids in days ancient
A mighty man...

Though not enthroned
A KING he was...ruler of our people...

True as it was
He still is....ROYALTY!

The Ear

Fixed above is a gigantic all-hearing ear
That listens to every cry and jeer,
A never-shutting ear that is set
To hear all inaudible moans of souls in fear,
And the innate grumbles of them that fret.

That ear is just and favors none;
It is of the Father enthroned on high,
The Omnipotent and the Mighty One;
The rescue of them that are left by the world to die.

My Spirit Enthroned

Surrendering very little back to life,
the time became solely my own

Which I spent on myself and the ones I loved,
protecting what inside was my home

The years raced along with my memory endowed,
  regrets being seldom and few

Each choice that I made—every promise I kept,
my spirit enthroned sovereign and new

Wordless Words

Wordless were his words
Yet deeply they pierced
Strongly but softly
Yet fragile and tough
Just like nothing I had known
He tilled and tilled
Until he built himself a throne

'Now who will crown me?'
He said
'No one will crown thee but me'
Came the voiceless voice
But the echoes lingered on
Until the words were enthroned
And the throne made the words whole.

Eternal Vibrating Tones of Grace

Eternal dawn, nurturing womb,
Hallowed pure catacomb
Romantic heart of fragrant blooms
Sparkling splendor enthroned

Love from eternity
Sacred vitality
Hope's opportunity

A heavenly wink from mercy's face
Eternal vibrating tones of grace

Rondure Creeps Revered

eerie contractions etched
fostering fractured fetch
poring punctured pulses
worn winds wield
felon feigns drooped
hoisting hankering drools

bruised barks moaned
heaving sigh sown
by blitzkrieg enthroned

dark diminuendo dribble
cupping callous cripple
nocturnal nature nimble

spunky shaver severed
rondure creeps revered.

Open Fields

Are you judging from halls
  academic

Or from places where words
  cannot hide

Are your hours immersed in
  false reference

Or in a visceral pursuit
  that defies

All bias and excuse
  living tethered

In an ivy green mansion
  enthroned

While truth and beauty
  run together

Through open fields
  —that no pundit has grown

Neurodeus Dophamine

Enthroned Qeis-Layla lay under God,
Propheted a mania in madness blood.

The spark of a padma has not died,
A sorrow Hansel-Gretel lacrimated.

A just far away lady likeness,
Adore God for the grimness.

Tristan- Isolde has begged Eden stair,
A chivalric ludus tore apart the affair.

Asking God to love is cup idly,
Anthony-Cleopatra quelled vividly.

When romantic feelings are triggered,
God laughed.

W-here men and brave thrive
H-is dreams made him strive

T-ill his race was enthroned high
E-ligible his color wasn’t but his dreams

O-verjoyed is the world for Luther sings
U-nto us the dream is come though he love to see
S-ee he may not but i am fulfilled that he lived
E-xcellent i accord him et Lutheran et king

(And ode to Martin Luther King jnr)
