Campaigning must be very laborious For democrat Hilary Clintorious Folks say she’ll oust Donald Trump Enthroned when taking a dump These nasty rumours are so darn spurious! May God Bless America - she sure needs all the help she can get! Thanks to Duke Beaufort for letting me use his line 'Hillary Clintorious' 1st August 2016

Reminds me of the lyrics to "Mrs. Robinson" by Simon and Garfunkel. "...either way you look at this, you lose."

Hi Jan, thought i would look in on a limerick this time round, needed a bit of a giggle. Well you did pick something funny to write a limerick on. Two numpties wanting the same job. I see it as whoever becomes president it could end up a no win for America. The whole thing has been a bit of a joke so far, good material for limericks i would say. I am not even going to mention that word we all seem to like so much. I did get my laugh. A seven from me Jan. Hugs....Mike. XX

There is no going back now! A choice has to be made. I am sure that Hillary's trump card is called Donald, unless she loses on trumped up charges! Thanks for the laugh...hugs // paul

Duke called her Hillarious Clintorious but the syllables were too much for me to deal with so I made her Hillary lol:-) hugs Jan xx

A 7 for sure, Jan! I wish I could feel excited about voting. A recent report states that, in both cases, people are voting for one just to avoid the other. Janice

I love 'clintorious' so so so clever - the entire limerick is excellent. Are our embarrassing politics on English TV much? CayCay

I loved that word too CayCay so asked Duke if I could use it lol:-) I try to steer away of politics - in the UK they have a new female Prime Minister as David Cameron resigned after the Brexit vote went against what he hoped. We all have very troubled times ahead:-( I see snippets of the US elections on the TV... but trun off lol:-) hugs Jan xx

Great limerick Jan. I'm not even going to start with my opinion because there just isn't enough room.
