like your love
is your fading tattoo engrave
on your chest ironically close
to your human heart
but to why it's fading
coz' it's fake darling
You engrave and change.
choose words to bring rhythm and thought
poem is blooming.

The hand of Art writes small
Across the crumbling wall
Of human years:
But bullets’ burst and spark
Engrave a deeper mark
Than poet’s joys or tears.
To build a spike and engrave their own name
Even amongst the stars, to find acclaim
Rock and steel they took in hands
Yet futile are mortal plans
He chose one man and put all to shame.
Unbury my hearts secret
With the scroll of a pen
Engrave my darkest thoughts
On a haunted page
Scarred by the rapture
Of a scorned soul
Look openly
Only your eyes can see
Mark my words
With invisible ink
Form:
Engrave precept ohms
revise strands of dukka dont's
anatta mindfuel
(kensho- seeing ones true nature of mind.)
(dukka-stress, pain suffering distress and discontent.)
(anatta-not self, ownerless.)
Seasons droop with age
trailing like your footprints, gone
while anguish leaves me homeless.
Above, stars engrave
vignettes of our first moondance - -
till I burst into bleak tears.

Death of a Mother
A mother’s love remembered at her grave.
Where children grieve and mourn at love’s conclave.
Her laughter and her smiles on hearts engrave.
And keep the loving memories they crave.

Poetic form: Elegy
Several
forever fading
fragments of
one single
shattered dream.
Who’s streams
of significance
flow far behind
the shadows of time.
leaving behind
their minimal
minor moments .
Which forever engrave
themselves
deep within
the depths of my
shattered heart .
Keening witches in the dunes
raven tresses gemmed with salt
crystal droplets twined in crowns.
Haunted chants ice the air
Boats sway on fragrant surf.
Ancient calling as dead stir
Bare shores greet ash flakes
Imprints etched of hidden souls
to engrave a memory shorn.
When someone calls me Charles, it makes me squirm and cringe
Jack's the name I answer to, it's always made me grin
Tired of explaining it for over eighty years
Hence the reason for my constant tears
Gonna engrave it with my Etch a Sketch all over my alluring skin>center>
Time always move
Forward not backwards
The future has already
Been written and engrave
By the lord, and no man
No plot nor plan will prosper
Even if the plan seems ironclad
It will never change what
God has in-store for his people
He is the power, just call upon
with prayer
Dear Self of Mine,
Dry not away, wither not now,
For we have miles yet to flow.
Somewhere along this winding way,
A spring awaits our brighter day.
A time of bloom we must engrave,
To light the path for those we pave.
Come now, let us drift and flee
Do we not have to meet the sea?
I wonder, do you miss me?
Although I wouldn't ask
The times we're not together
For me are quite the task
There's longing that's inside me
I never let it show
It rises from its slumber
The moment that you go
Your presence I desire
Your company I crave
Take me with you Bluebird
My heart you did engrave
Set sail
Avail
Bloom bright
Insight
Sense stuff
Enough
Be brave
Engrave
Strokes stern
Discern
Love lives
Forgive
Straight set
Forget
Note nice
Advice
Note name
Endgame
Death drills
Goodwill
Peace piles

Singapore
whooshing winds use trees to shout messages
leaves flutter down like dying moths landing at my feet
sparkle of day feels like a tornado warning
I sit under my tallest oak
expecting her limbs to crack and hit me in the head
on my tombstone you have my permission to engrave
Risk taker from Kansas who should have known better
Our
character constitutes
the path to success in life
that
was engraved by God himself
for
to guide us fulfill, our destiny,
after an unending strife!

Bid On My Love
Give me unconditional love and I be your slave
No harsh words till I reach my lonely grave
Give me my own breathing space to engrave my niche
Waltzing romance in our idyllic world sequinned for the rich

Not to far
From our backyard
Grows a large
Ironwood Tree.
Its trunk is carved
With a heart
That holds the love
You promised me.
Every day
I pass that way
Too enjoy the shade
of our Ironwood tree.
To place my hand
Over that scar
To feel the love
You have given me.
When I'm gone
On my stone
Engrave for me
An Ironwood tree.
Under the weeping willow,
I sit in seeping soil
on my knees
as I carve into trees,
to engrave our love naturally—
Do you do the same for me?
Under the loved leaves,
I lay in degloved detachment
upon your feet
as you attempt to leave,
to sacrifice myself indefinitely—
Do you do the same for me?

Back arching like a tree branch,
Take me and break me
As if snapping twigs with your hands.
Body brittle like a china doll,
Rip me and chip me
And watch me shine through the cracks.
Skin white like a new pearl,
Save me, engrave me
With your teeth, your fingers.
I want to be broken just so you can put me back together.
Fix me,
Love me,
Claim me as yours.
Shards of tears
engrave memories
like a tattered glass
recalling years scarred by desire.
she went mountain climbing
too high, gasped, got
wedged like a pinched rose
then hoisted by a fish hook in the jaw.
he did 60 pills in 60 days
still uncured, he grabbed a feather
tickled a powder keg
and exploded.
this marriage was a crown of thorns.
I knew you cared
The moment we kissed
I felt the rush
We locked our lips
Said you’re the one
To heal my hurt
You left no doubt
Within my heart
I’ll put your picture in my locket
I’ll send you photos through the phone
I’ll give you heart shaped chocolate
So that you know you’re not alone
I’ll fly a rocket into space
Engrave your name on the moon.
Iridescent crow wings
scatter ice particles, patches of air clatter.
Grackle claws engrave the frozen creek,
small owls emerge from blanching shadows,
fieldmice burrow into snow drifts.
A small stir in the flappable; facets
dazzle a dazed daylight.
A newly unearthed sky pauses to blink
life stutters, shimmers back
twice as bright.
Leave your fake hill
And come with me
To my dream mountain
Of ecstasy.
Engrave your name
On every stone
That builds every part
around my untouched heart.
Leave your house of uncertainty
And come with me
To my large castle of belief
And just believe,
Believe in me,
Believe in us,
In every step we could take,
Towards the truth,
Towards the reality,
Towards our love.
