Best When Broken

Back arching like a tree branch, Take me and break me As if snapping twigs with your hands. Body brittle like a china doll, Rip me and chip me And watch me shine through the cracks. Skin white like a new pearl, Save me, engrave me With your teeth, your fingers. I want to be broken just so you can put me back together. Fix me, Love me, Claim me as yours.
