Period End

Fate the end game
time is fleeting
Moments pass
hate unleashing
Choices lost
reason stalls
Darkness calling
—hell enthralled

Sunday
Football's cool
root for my team
too bad they could not win
end game

Next week
game day starts
excitement builds
I hope they win this week

Cat and canary at odds through the day A game of chase hunts his delicious prey But Tweety turns tables Just like Aesop’s fables End game birdy tweets, hubris doesn’t pay!

An arrow
Slicing through the air
To hit its target
Wise upon the way
It is deceived by the destination
And is perceived by the realization
That the end game
Is already dead

Russell Sivey

Eternity, the end game

Silent generation stay stoic, speechless, pout, watching time run out
Boomers shout while Gen X'ers rant
Millenials meanwhile, run fast, breathless, noisily pant
Gen Zs the end now, run can't

magnetism intensifies
within body urn
no one else besides us feels
God’s benign bliss burn

our presence now void-centric
transforms as the flame
kundalini transmutes us
in our life’s end game

The past is the one to blame
Yes future, it is his end game
I will continue to eat
I will hand over the receipt
Therefore, you can take the shame

version 1 didn't make sense.

Limerick : Once a Lion of a Man in ruin

Once a Lion of a Man in ruin
Tried to salvage his pawns and ***** Queen
Far too late t’was end-game
Even his Knight was lame
So he reset rules and horsed his Queen !

there is this surreal pull
along central axis of form
bliss enraptured we feel full
as long as with love we conform

consumed thus from inside out
our central vein is now aflame
each breath is a bliss bout
vibrant in life’s end game

Heart seeks love and mind light, thus when both meld, with light as the source and love God’s vital force, pristine presence feels complete, having thus become the bright flame, as soul’s claim to fame in life’s end game.

GATE

Glimpse the your fate in that clear light,
Apt thought comes late as fond cheer sight;
Touch flings the gate open to soul,
End game you date in that last flight.

Authors of the scriptures remain unknown,
wisdom penned handed down from the ages,
pointing out the way each must walk alone,
escaping illusionary cages
and quelling fire that within heart rages.
All Upanishads have a simple aim:
to entwine us with God, in life’s end game.

Heart empty, we invoke bliss magnetism,
not imbibing but becoming the flame,
which fully illumines mind-body prism,
after which we are no longer the same,
reclaiming light of Self, in life’s end game.

Nodes within stir and all boundaries blur ~
With laws of God, we willingly concur

Premium Member End Game - Panmunjom, July, 1953

Three years of 'police action,'
Conducted according to
The doctrine of 'limited war,'
In order to pursue
A policy of 'containment.'
Police action?
Containment?
Limited war?
Guess that’s why
I don’t feel like Patton
Pissing in the Rhine.
War is all hell.
Don't sugar coat it.

plugging energy leak
we see we’re strong not weak
the ‘we’ we allude to
is bliss that does renew
pervading every cell
in this body-mind shell

so as God’s magnetism
in this organic prism
as bliss beats take the lead
fears and desires recede
thus we become the flame
here now in life’s end game

when Holy Spirit pervades form
there rises within, a magnetic storm
rapture of which nothing may be said
save we are being to heaven by God led

as a benign bliss burn slowly exhumes ego
vibrancy of our presence begins to grow
we are in time, consumed by the flame
transformed thus in life’s end game

The End Game

I'm bunged up.
I need a filter for my gutter.
My bone-headed Doctor
reckons I don't eat right
but 'Little Debbie' Donuts are my delight
as I binge-watch re-runs of Game of Thrones.
Blood, gore, and sugar -
but i'm stuffed
and must take the cure.
Now I dare not stray far from my own
porcelain throne.

End Game

Asking for your support
not your agreement
I looked into your eyes
Seeing rejection
your stare blank and cold
our connection was untied

Your words became hollow
your touch nondescript
 new distance did we share
Alone while together
the ending in sight
—finality laid bare

(Dreamsleep: July, 2023)

Premium Member End Game Conclusion

When you’re dying of terminal sadness,
It’s easy to fall for false cures,
Distracted by tempting amusements
Whose needs seem more pressing than yours.
When you’re two moves adjacent to checkmate
In the game of asserting control,
You’ll get ghosted and gas-lit,
By a gold-digger’s gambit
Hell bent for a piece of your soul.
