Magic

Her eyes sparkle
  He speaks to her heart

She encircles him, floating on air
He drinks in her charms, takes her in his arms

Silent Silhouette

Silent silhouette,
Lonesome in her home,
Emters a world of crystal sparkles,
Encircles a world of silvery streams,
Perhaps to dream.

Moving On

a crown of white locks
                                                   encircles a feeble mind
                                                sleep perchance to dream

Free

enclosed in their sobriety
 strength encircles defeat
 entwined in a world
 of tears for fears
 we struggle
 remove the sealed masks
 of denial
 and of change
 live free
 from that that devours

Life Rises

Out of an earthly finality of death,
Life rises, embraces freed souls,
above the mournful masses,
Life soars higher than eagle's aeries.
Life encircles broken hearts,
rising, rising.
The sweet Lord,
He gathers His flowers. ~

Lonely

Darkness and light
encircles me
these walls
are closing
in on me
A dark future ahead of me
refusing to forgive
bitterness swallows
me whole
 The depths of my soul
none has yet to reach
never knowing my feelings
or that which dwells within

I Dream Colors

Fond of love I cannot say it
having suffered I live happy
this ribbon that encircles me
I dream colors in butterfly havens

love has friends like alabaster
your hair is my ambrosial layer
when those kindnesses are closer
I spend the residue in thinking you

Limp

gentle pops of ice
as surging streams
release its imprisoned brethren
decaying leaves grasping onto blackened fingers
as weathered wind encircles
sputum gurgles past
as stream seems to gasp
chiselled bedrock teeth
laugh as speckled waters
erode and carry
child particles
far away

Wedding Ring Finger

The gold band
Highlights the place,
Marks it out,
Encircles it,
Tells the world
That I belong,
The finger points out our love

Its gold band,
Worn like a crown,
Gives it weight,
Solemn duty,
Proudly born,
It represents
Vows I made to you for life

Ask the Dream

Visionary
               Angels
and
     the
sound of multi - colored light
      watch the rainbow
as it encircles
       us
while you wait
            for
peace
and keep asking, asking
         for
peace
   the heavy weight
will be lighter
    if you
are in touch with
your cosmic soulmates

Spindle

Spiritually it spun me around in circles
Peering deep within my soul, it encircles
Indigo colored waves of the spectrum
Needlessly filtered out of introspection
Down into the rabbit hole of realization
Leery of the truth and capitalization of
Ending it too early

So I didn't and I kept spinning on this spindle
Orchestrated to end it on a higher note

In the Meadow

Dark Moon

The twilight sky
encircles me
As I stand in
morbid reverie.
My mood so dark
the tears won’t flow,
Choked inside
they wayward row.

I stand before
the windswept sea
Their mournful voices
haunting me.
I can’t forget
their cries of horror;
Unsanctified
remains of war.

My Garden March 2000

I love my garden,
my beautiful place.
The perfume surrounds me,
of scented flowers abound.

There is so much love in my garden,
my special place.
where I often sit and contemplate,
the endless love of my family...encircles.

I love to sit here in my garden,
where a head full of thoughts unfold.
I love to sit in my garden,
my very special place...

Searching For Velvet at Midnight

Sultry softness beckoned
by a thousand touches
caressing
the air that encircles
the body divine
chillingly
embers buried deeply
in the soul of passion
burns
charging the heart’s desire
yearning
smoldering aglow
with captured fire
incinerating
levitating
flames of desire
flickering
in exquisite madness
emerging
surging
with thrusts
of pulsating dreams
searching
for velvet at midnight

You

As I sit alone
in the empty field
With only my dreams
A mountain outstretches
it arms to hug me
Its lips, to gently kiss
my tearstained cheek
Birds hum sad, sad songs
Of loves lost in time
Bring forth all the memories
I've tried hard to push
from my mind
Beauty surrounds me
Encircles me in a loving
touch
But still, all I wish for
Is you
It is always the same
You here with me
You to end my pain.

Necklace of Pearls

Teetering on a fine line
stretching across the western horizon,
suspended fire, glowing orange-red ball,
slowly receding, slipping downward
until, just out of sight,
split into a thousand shades and tints
like fine lead crystal, broken,
pastel fragments scattered on the clouds,
a pearl necklace encircling
the sky’s bare neckline
before evening’s black velvet cloak
encircles her shoulders.

Shore Line Fog

The cool evening breeze blends
With the warm beach air
And the thickening summer
Fog rolls over the shifting sands

The fog moves gently
Floating over the retreating waves
And the hushed empty shore,
Toward the hectic urban streets

Fog muffles the sound
Of life, as if
Tucking us all in
With a heavy winter comforter

Nature’s nighttime breath
Edges forward, encircles everything,
Gently telling us
Be still, Good Night

Old age

Old Age
=======

Time will not stand still,
Moving ahead all the time.
Once it starts it's journey,
No one can intervene.

Before we could realize,
Old age encircles us.
With forgetfulness,
slowness and traits.

When new friend engulfs us,
 Organs begin to withdraw
 from their regular duties,
Memory says bye to everyone.

All are not fortunate
To enjoy it's entry.
Old age is not destined
To all the human beings.

Collared

Cold silver encircles my throat
hard and unforgiving and engraved
the weight, a daily reminder
and the inscription telling me that
my value lies at zero, free for taking.
Property.
It rests now at the bottom of the sea.

Tightly woven cord encircles my throat
the colours of he and I and made
by his hand as a daily reminder
that my value has no figure high enough, cost beyond measure.
Gift.

I am folded into the scent of his embrace.

Times

Such trying times, these are
You just never know
What might occur during them,

Is anyone safe?
Are you able to eat?
Are you able to survive?
Who’s caught it?
What shall we do?
Is anybody actually afflicted?

There’s a chance,
Though perhaps just as likely
As the salutary rains
Pouring in the Atacama.

Though heartbreaking it is
Realizing that nobody,
Absolutely not a living soul,
Can even put forth the effort
To realize the truth
That encircles all of us.

Son Song

With pangs of birth
Stir up the earth

My lungs explode from sky to ground
I scream a lullaby of love
It reaches to the stars above
Encircles womb with notes profound

I scream a lullaby of love
My soul is etched with songs newfound
Ancestral chords throughout resound
It reaches to the stars above

With pangs of birth
I scream a lullaby of love
Burst forth with neonatal sound
It reaches to the stars above
Stir up the earth

Stir up the earth
With pangs of birth
