Wedding Ring Finger
The gold band
Highlights the place,
Marks it out,
Encircles it,
Tells the world
That I belong,
The finger points out our love
Its gold band,
Worn like a crown,
Gives it weight,
Solemn duty,
Proudly born,
It represents
Vows I made to you for life
For Nette’s Crown of my Body contest, 19th June
