The thunder echos
thrashing around with my thoughts
walking in the rain
our electricity flows
the wind breathes you into me.

Benjamin Franklin
He found electricity to be quite shockin'
But if we had taken Ben's word
The turkey would be our national bird!

The Key World Opener

Spectacles one said,

A C one said,

Wheels one said,

Electricity one said,

At once,I say none,

But pen-

Chain Reaction

You wrapped poetry 'round me
crackling with electricity
in the pop snapping rarified air
we share
  Hard to breathe up there.....
let's do it again!

Earth S a Large Magnet of Love

amber becomes charged
by rubbing
static electricity of
disturbed souls
repelling stones
iron roads
earth is a large
magnet of love
we dont use
enough

Premium Member boasting about killing watches

Watches do not work on my daughter or I
The ones we wear unexpectedly die
Our body electricity is different than most
We kill watches the old lady did boast

Premium Member Ghosts Populating the Attic

Achtung! Ghosts populating the attic
Electricity fills air with static

History

To leave a legacy,
oh mystery,
steps of electricity.

Oh legacy,
potent jealousy,
stray little-
oh legacy

Change in journey,
oh legacy,
your reality-

What's next?

Premium Member give me the wilderness

give me the wilderness
fox, deer, beaver, skunk
moss, mushrooms, violets

Premium Member Static Electricity

When we were little
My identical twin and I had a contest
Trying to see how many times we could make sparks
As we brushed our hair in the dark.
It stood up straight
A bonus!

Bad Hair Day

Today my hair had a mind of its own,
being in the static electricity zone,
put in some mousse,
still looked uncouth,
walking around like an Alfalfa clone.

Premium Member electric zap from hairbrush

I remember brushing my hair in the dark
hearing the electricity zap
my twin and I used to touch the air, getting shocked
laughing about it
this was enormously fun when we were ten

Lack of Light and Little Prayer

A lack of light
     power cut
    darkens houses,
    everyone uses candles,
but no one seeks the "light"...
    Everyone expects electricity,
    but nobody actually prays...!

Electricity

There is no I in you.
But the stares from across the bar question the mood.
Defeated, yet pretty.
Eye to eye.
Flickering sight starts to ignite.
You and I.
I and You.
Electric hold.

You Are Near

a night of black clouds
rolling over the mountains
electricity jumps from cloud to cloud
thunder crashes, loud and near
you hold me in your arms
whispering in my ear
you are near
you are here

Saving Electricity and Water

There are times when God allows His heirs
to experience problems in life
in order to test their faith.
If they lack resources,
Good solution is
to learn proper
budgeting
and be
wise.

Premium Member Kiss the Rain 7x7

Drops of electricity
nibbling slow down your arm,
Cascades of water dancing
taste your eyelashes gently,
Slowly drown and kiss the rain;
Don't walk away from the storm;
Quick blink! the magic is gone.

Premium Member Broken Electric

Electricity arcs up to the sky
Cracks off my head forcefully
Left imprint in my brain

She left me broken all at once one day
I slammed my head in a door
Wished I was dead, the pain

Untitled

And more than anything
I seek to rain to
Elevate this fear I have—
Into an electricity that
Becomes so hostile that it
Must vacate this body.
