Sat on a tuffet
Wiling her time away
She heard some shooting
Of course, it was Putin
Egging his puppets on.
She did not know them
So she did not show them
Any sign of fear,
Her innocent face
As she made them a place
Saying, puppets come over here
They loosened their strings
And started to sing
Together in harmony
Sitting together
Like birds of a feather
Peaceful, Happy and Free...

Engulfed in mystic fragrance, took me into trance.

Waves of cinnamon thrill my childhood senses
down Eastwood’s stall for pancake’s fluffy batter
browned choco bits riding  on syrup’s edges
and frothy heap of whipped cream topped on platter

Grandma’s chirped voice begins to dance in my head
her sunlit eyes egging me for rounds of treat.
Visions of youth bring me to days, warmly fed,
I end the meal pining for her cherished feast.

Tit had a hissy fit and called tat fat
while tat apologized after the fact
tit kept egging him on with rude remarks
while tat used tact leaving tit in the dark

Tit called tat names all night and day
till she saw tat and their cat Tater Tot at play
tat said I would prefer not to play tit for tat
but would rather play tic tac toe with the cat

With that tit realized that tit for tat was a useless attack
finally forgiving tat for eating all of her tic tac's
