a baby bootie
ecstatically clings to her
clear garrison cap —
the navy does not issue
children in sailor’s seabag

Autumn Bloom
Happiness reblooms anew,
And age is less with me.
The flowering is late, the petals few
But planted youthfully by you.
I pluck ecstatically....

There once was a Chick from the sea
whose two buxom breasts were set free.
Twin seaweed straps snapped
as thunder clouds clapped
and the sailors drown ecstatically....

Most Wanted
Meet a gender bender.
There was a precocious
revolt.

A cryptogamic kinship.
Someone writhes
ecstatically.

A god writes a hymn
on the chest of
a new born baby.

Beyond the origins
lies a marbled tale.
You have reached nowhere.

Inflammable was
the blue birthmark.
There was an arrival.

Umbrella Shall Save Ya
Loudly he boasts
that he's got the strongest faith
           as ecstatically he exclaims,
              "Your faith shall save ya!"

He prays that it won't rain,
                believing that it won't,
as he stands there, using as a cane,
                   a furled umbrella!...

The tray is undamaged Doomsday haze Coral and crystal shards Ascend to the heavens Or allow yourself to get burned There's no end to knowledge Under a bright blue sky Resiliently attached To reality and its metaphors Castle of yearning Beyond the nothingness Sensibility and radiance I was ecstatically delighted

It's Christmas
IT’S CHRISTMAS!

Jingle, jingle rings all the bells,

Sounding the season roping jolliness;

With gifts traveling to distant places,

And joy running the realm of existence.

There’s high celebration dancing ecstatically in the air;

Showers of goodly hilarity blessing our sphere.

On the whole, it’s nice to have great fun;

Not forgetting the One who gave His only son.

Merry Christmas everyone!...

A Lovely Face
A sunny morning is seated pretty

Luscious mangoes are taking shape there
On the leafy branches birds are tweeting
Velvety leaves cast shadows over them
Euphoria runs deep in the roots of the trees
Lilacs looking up from beneath
Yellow and red hues hem in the plants

Fields sparkle with mustard flowers
A parrot calls from a guava tree
Clouds suddenly come crowding in
Engulf the painting ecstatically...

The Fallen Star
He considered the others dim wits
At best he thought of them as lazy
Was he not a celebrity of many hits

On stage they screamed his name
The frenzy was ecstatically craved
He was hooked on to their worship

He walked the slippery path of drugs
A frequent guest of the rehab center
He was eventually staring at insanity

He slit his wrist with a sharp razor
His life webbed away with regrets
The papers wrote the king is dead

Premium Member Rainbow Moment
Light-play ecstatically rides the air, in tones of pink, lavender, yellow, blue; cumuli smiles fill the skies, a blink or two of green slides by. Precipitation sighs its last goodbye; while Sol stretches its warming rays. Orange intermingles with rainbow’s Indigo edge; fade to azure heights, Where echoes the laughter of children Splashing about in puddles. I breathe in the scent of ozone and cast my eyes to Heaven’s Crayola-glory.

The Elevating Mirth
Listening intently,
My ears draw towards the softest of music
Glistening instantly,
My fears die away… and I find it so therapeutic

I gratefully write this poem
Since I haven’t wrote one in so long…I can’t stand the wait
I spiritedly dance in flawless rhythm
Since I haven’t used my energy in so long…I don’t feel all that great

Flittering ecstatically,
My wings began to elevate in a most treasurable way
Spluttering playfully,
My tears dry away… and my laughter makes the tune dwindle away...
