Silly today as silly as can be
Easy as pie, I'm sure you'll agree
Just think outrageous
It's really contagious
You'll certainly be as kooky as me
The funny side of life is for everyone
Open your mind, greet each day with a pun
It's easy as pie
Just give it a try
Might wind up on television making tons
The funny side of life is for everyone
Open your mind, greet each day with a pun
It's easy as pie
Just give it a try
Might wind up on television making tons
Things that used to be easy as pie
Are now a struggle, my shoes to tie
Am I nearing the end
Flowers you should send
But still got some limericks before saying goodbye
Things that used to be easy as pie
Are now a struggle, my shoes to tie
Am I nearing the end
Flowers you should send
But still got limericks to write before my goodbye
Things that used to be easy as pie
Are now a struggle, even my shoes to tie
Am I nearing the end
Maybe flowers you should send
But still got some limericks before saying goodbye
Things that used to be easy as pie
Are now a struggle, even my shoes to tie
Am I nearing the end
Maybe flowers you should send
But still got some limericks before saying goodbye
A young girl entered the first grade hoping to learn how to spell using ABC's
But try as she may she could never spell those long tricky words until Miss
Cartolano lent her flash cards for home. Suddenly it became easy as pie.
Pulling the Wool Over Mamma's Eyes
Mamma's eyes were as big as the moon
and a nose like a hound
When her children sins were black as night
The hound lost its scent and she became blind as bat
They could pull the wool over her eyes as easy as pie

Slinging southern-fried political pus
Easy as pie for smooth-talking Russ
He'd turn on that charm
From down on the farm
Convinced folks states' rights were a must
How could slavery really be bad
Prosperity every year they had
But Abe Lincoln came
Spoke in freedom's name
King Cotton hated Abe's truth like mad
Cup of Joe
Cut to the chase
Between a rock
And a hard place
Back to square one
Piece of cake
Dime a dozen
Truth is stranger than fiction
Cold turkey
Down and out
Down for the count
Down to Earth
Drawing a blank
Easy as pie
Eat my hat
Go for broke
Truth is stranger than fiction
Hands down
Happy as a clam
Hard pill to swallow
High and dry
Head over heels
Toe to toe
Truth is stranger than fiction.
So many things have changed with life
I just dont know how things could go right
I feal like every day that goes bye that nothing
could just go easy as pie
my life has never been perfect
But there is one thing that keeps me the way that I am
my childern are what make me me
I do not think I could have made it this far but god sent me my shining stars
I do not understand how something so little could be so big in life changes are just a
part of life
Form:
Are cucumbers cool
As a general rule?
How fresh is a daisy?
Are loons always crazy?
How snug is a bug
When he’s not in a rug?
How gentle are lambs
If not happy as clams?
How clever’s a fox
That’s as dumb as an ox?
How fit is a fiddle
Not clean as a whistle?
Are doornails most dead,
Or are dodos instead?
Is it drier than toast
To say “deaf as a post”?
Such puzzles befuddle and much mystify
Till suddenly you see they’re as easy as pie!
He’d done this hundreds of times
Step up to the line and make two dimes*
Small crowds, large crowds, no matter
He sunk ‘em all, every record shattered
Three dribbles, a deep sigh
Swish! Easy-as-pie ...
How’d he miss with the title on the line
~ blinded by those dollar signs
