Daydreams

Sombre, soaking gazing eyes
fixed so happily on the skies
Dreaming over waves so far
of life and love and blinking stars
Don't worry over responsibilities
Live now almost drunkenly

Daniel

Drunkenly we fall once more
And wake up weaker than before,
Not dense enough to question this,
I simply savour every kiss,
Evidently, in my bed
Lies nothing more than just a friend.

Groggy Moon

empty beer cans
              clattering drunkenly
                     down a sober, empty alley...

       well within the full circle
              of a sedate neon halo
                     'neath a full, groggy moon.

Mistaken Identity

The royal cat nips from staring morning glories drunkenly pounces

When When Was

closing my eyes i
drunkenly wonder

why

for what may i dream
a dream beyond what i

am living

and yet she is so
colorful in clothes

hair and lips

but now i REM and
remember her as she

was

but every time i dream
her she is in black

and white

Falling Black

Yes,
I am aware i torture through you

And my confession and pennance
only bore you

But they are the only thing that get
me through this

When you don't call me and leave
me drunkenly passed out on my back

Starring at my bedroom ceiling
crying tears into my pillow

Service Is Cold

I lie on the ground, faceless
Unbroken but undone
You walk away, proud
While you chant and praise yourself
So I sigh, in defeat, and I cry for release
And I beg for the agony to seize
I screech please!
Drunkenly prop up to my knees
As they buckle from the pain within my mind
And my teeth I grind
Revenge you will find
And your ass will be mine

Moonshine

Two drunken gentlemen
Holding each other up
They sang drunkenly

Drunk-and-disorderly
In a mood of melancholy
They murmured words of glory

Thinking that they got mad
The cop couldn’t understand
As to what they actually had

It was the pungent odour of wine
Along-with a cup of margarita and moonshine
They had on the full moon night.

Working With the Dead

The tines of the rake comb through a dispersing blow. Some heaps hold, ocher clumps form random hillocks, most slip through the iron teeth dancing drunkenly away. I was called out into the rushing air. Physical work with the dead and dying is indeed a calling. Meanwhile the dead keep falling; my arms shake a cerecloth into the vivid swirls of an afterlife.

Confused Mind

Confused mind

He walked into a kaleidoscope, stunned
around and threw up colourful vomit.
Carrousels, blinking light, not his scene.
He intended to climb mountains.

For a berg goat, our world looks pathetic
yellow eyes of tipsy cherubs.

Celebration of something in his village
singing drunkenly, rockets kiss the air.
When the cacophony ends with jubilant
voices, this is not Idlib.

Hungover Ego

Tripped over your intoxication

of a darkly delivered potent punch

flowing in absurd contradictions,

wallowing mid drunkenly exhilarated

gulps of denial's cursed vintage,

swallowing elixir's exhales in a shot glass

engulfing reflection's accelerated fire,

bourgeois Machiavellianism slurs topped

off machinations' idiosyncratic delusions,

'twixt boozy sips of head game’s hungover ego

Raking Leaves

The tines of the rake
comb through a dispersing tumble.
Ocher clumps form random hillocks,
most slip through the iron teeth
dancing drunkenly away.

I was called into the rushing air.
Physical work with the dead and dying
is a ‘calling’ isn’t it?

The newly deceased keep falling.
Maple leaf bones crackle underfoot.
I scoop their remains,
brush an autumnal cerecloth,
shake the dead into swirls of afterlife.

The Clatter of Dancing Toes

Let us waltz in the moonlight where the scatter bugs bleep there we shall twinkle and occasionally leap. For are we not nice. cheesy as Gruyère, vim full of chuckles and devil-may-care, and if you being dinky do never not mind we are thin in the front and fat behind. Elastic, and orgiastic we will blitz out on cherries lips so juicy and red. footing drunkenly sideways, and so, to bed.

I Feel Like Dancing

Drink me ill this pleasure still,
And cure me with your poisoned pills-
Before I lose all my strength,
But, oh! I lost that long ago!
Dreamily dancing to and fro...
With legs of lead and no feet to stand,
And a phantom partner to hold my hand
A languid trance and lulled Romance
To seize me whole in its expanse
Never I yield, though quite out of breath-
Drunkenly dancing in the Depths Of Death

Gait

My gait spasmodic
I staggered drunkenly
My inner voice a thousand tongues
Of crazed cacophony

In mumbling incoherence
My muddled mind benumbed
I sought the words I fumbled for
As if I were struck dumb

But sentence was unstructured
And thought was compromised
Were I to even form a word
Complexity – be mine

The Thought took hold – though –
In shape – and form – and slowly
I expressed in words
What only wise men know –

One of the M's- a Title I Drunkenly Wrote Down and So Don'T Know What It Means

i woke in a
drunken daze
what day
might it be
or night

the clock read
eight but what
time of the day
it couldn't
say

so i thought
logically not
wanting to
upset the
balance

of time
and space
let alone mess
with the chaos
factor

so after
some mind
deliberations
i looked

out after
finding a
nearby
window

this i
pondered
for quite
awhile

a wind
ow and
so seeing
the errs

i opened
and let
the screen
breath

Midnight Moth

At the center of a soggy bar.
She wore a polka dot smile.
A tornado of graceful magnificence.
Like a spray of funeral flowers
Against a leather studded sty.

Inside my head, I drunkenly prayed.
"Angel flee into yesterday-immediately.
Before we dip you in our bile and drink.
Don't become like the rest of us!"

She won't listen (they never do).
She'll become Suzy shot glass.
Sporting a smoker's cough.
Spit out -split in half.
A powdery little midnight moth.

First Spring Eulogy

They flocked into town.
Loud, Pushy, Laughing
They left their Tropics
To celebrate the Great Fest,
Banqueted by Instinct.
Mashing and gulping sour
Red and Purple bits,
Juice dribbling sticky
Down their Breasts,
They stumble about,
From one hung over bar,
      To
             Another.
Each drink Drives them
                                       Farther until,
One
    By
       One
They drunkenly Crash to their Deaths
In the Windows we use
To View Them.
