When you're finally wasted you'll
Lay a while with me.
That's all it takes.
A couple bottles in
You say it's not about me.
That's the only thing that's not.
Blame.
The only thing I own.
Sunlight filters through you
soul of glass
Heart of stone

Then a faded dream
Of memories once good
Turned into dust and ashes

I would recommend
Suboxone over methadone
It just works better
And believe me
It saved my life too

Relaxed, content, reflective but warm not cold,
No drugs, minimal alcohol ( achievable Ive been told),
I can confirm, tardy as I am to the scene,
But it's true, you can feel good without treating your body mean.
