lithe light lovely words float past
escaping my touch as a butterfly does
one lands in the form of a dragonfly
or are you a damselfly?

Cop the glower,
of livid fire-breathing dragonfly!

Trees with fruits are laden
Birds sing gaily, beasts roam wild.
Sunflower fairy
Chatted merry
Spellbound the dragonfly, like a child.
Sunflower blooms gold,
cradles fairy in fold.
Marvel allures dragonfly.
Charmed, it holds her hand.
In scene so grand,
bonds of fanciful love ramify.
They say when a dragonfly lands on you
you’ll be blessed with good luck…and prosperity…
Which is why I smile whenever that happens…
for who am I do disagree…

Dragonfly boy was in love with dragon girl
She had a beautiful wing with a tiny curl
He wanted to fly dance with her, give her a whirl
But she fell in love with his cousin Earl.
Senses surrounded
her pulse raced, heart pounded
slashing through stands of fescue.
She let out a cry,
then from on high,
her dragonfly came to her rescue.
In the glow of petals bright,
A fairy rests, wings kissed by light.
A dragonfly hovers near,
Silent and still,
Time seems to stand still,
Their worlds connect without fear.
Peer through green rushes
Dragonfly flies along land
Life continues on.
