3 Spring Haiku
Pill bugs wet with dew
as crawling gray domes mirror
green turf, salmon sun.

Copter seeds whirling,
a squirrel chases paper
treasure for her nest.

Young cat mock-tweeting,
wily sparrows unheeding,
paws press on the screen....

Prison Homes
There is no hope in curiosity.

It is only through velocity.

Our willingness to leave our homes.

Which have turned into prison domes.

It is only through creating milestones.

That will lead us through, to feel frenzy in our bones!...

Entities
like leprechauns, fairies
in green gardens on tan slippery domes--

mushroom-forms!
Such a sunshine delight.
More afternoon magic to enjoy.

My delight,
these lovely creatures all,
on childhood nature walks by myself.

I saw gnomes
oblivious, merry,
happy in their leafy green houses....

Listen to poem:
Behind a fence, the barracks,
the grim barracks,
but the barracks are no more.
Their domes were like an onion,
stealing the great show.

Julie went to see them in 1939,
but much after, no, soon after,
grim barracks were no more...
The onion domes don't mystify:
there's only mist to show.

End of Time
I
 see a
place with
starless skies.
I
see a
dark smooth
world
endlessly afloat
in the black,
its star
long since
blinked
out.
Covered
with small
closely spaced
geodesic domes.
Geodesic domes
all interconnected,
all with
conduits leading
to the core.
I see
a place where
time
forgot
and where
dreams
come from....

Metropolitan Inferno
Rusty rotten dirty domes,
Wound the Heaven’s azure heart,
Chimneys’ souls rise to part,
Black giants’ filthy foams.

Metal hooting centipedes,
Pierce the hills’ rocky chest.
Shaking the jungles’ breast,
Roaring saw on trunk feeds.

Life’s teasing irony,
Knife to cut on the barks
Save trees in the parks!
Man’s mocking destiny......

Stardust
The will shall supplement my fitness,

categorize my songs,

and ejaculate a witness!

He shall shuttle our smiles through the day,

complicate our wrongs,

and dish out the bongs,

sing along with songs,

in rooms of grape with walls of shakes,

tomb smoke and tokens-

taken in by notes,

domes inside zones,

landscaping Vogue-

no real reason to pose unless you are gold....

Swans - thrump-thrumping
practice take offs and landings

Geese honk
file flight plans

Muskrats build
mud and stick domes

Beaver maintenance crews
make ready

frogs retreat
while the mud is soft

Osprey screech
above naked woods

A doe follows
a scented path

Turtles secure
their mobile homes

A woodpecker
sends Morse code alerts

The ice shell
creeps

Winter exhales
across the pond

Miss Ramsbottom was lonely
So lonely
So she bought herself a widget
That made her come funny all over
And fidget
She heard about the widget from her friend Bridget
Miss Ramsbottom took her widget where ever she'd go
To the store on holiday and even the picture show
But made sure no one would know
Or seen her
With her E book reader
And Peter Domes funny poems either.

''Well she didn't want it stolen''

The Finale
Sometimes horizon roams with moon
I pluck the stars
night drizzles from the dark clouds.

A shadow falls on the door
without struggle or rumor
I know he has come, my guest
the survivor of genocide.

He has come a long way
a message on his parched lips
he rubs hands.

Inferno he says. Holocaust he
murmurs. It is here again,
whole world is under siege.

He tells me, do something for the grass.
Ask your god to come back from domes.

Premium Member Summer In Santorini Greece
Santorini, Greece I see a sunny bedroom where almost everything is Santorini blue. Our clothes, scattered everywhere. And me, asleep, under a silky sheet! Your chest, my heavenly, sweet pillow, a cherished and memory to keep. Our vast window can be seen with Santorini and those great, blue domes peeking in. The full moon lights the room with tenderness, as each night and day again with my love for you begins. 5/2/2023
