harmonious disturbance,
the waves come and go

Layers

Branches without dressing
     drip nonsensical disturbance
on the forest floor
where I wait on the pathway
     covered with layered debris -
ever again lost
in diverging rationales
      of we.

Disturbance

disturbance
felt within
due to external

created by

Forget That Word

In this age of various disturbance,
whether fuss, aggrevation, outbursts,
spirits in ruffle,
take a deep breath, close your eyes,
think of serenity as better wise,
be calm, read a favorite psalm
and forget that word, 'kerfuffle'

Premium Member Unwelcome Disturbance

A loud noise jars my senses
Rips me away from creative thoughts
And steals my inner serenity.
Is it a passing truck back-firing?
Or a teenagers glass-pack shouting
"Notice me, you fool,
I am
Macho man!"

Countryside

With its wholesome look
Child's greener faced, child's
More gentle, sweet
The true Earth do now in this
Countryside greet.

In its stream, songbird
With naught of a disturbance
Heard to impart
A far cry from our offspring
Whose placid heart!

Chance

Two distant, solemn souls
share a park bench in silence

unaware
that the perfect rhythm of
their hearts causes
ripples on the lake
Aspen leaves to shimmer above
changes in the static disturbance of
the atmosphere forever . . .

until their eyes meet.

I am sure that it waits
in the shadow of a word
or a phrase lingering somewhere
in the memory of an afternoon
when, having missed the moment,

it stuttered a breath away
from form, hidden
except for a disturbance left
upon the mind like
lifting wings leave in air.

Waves

Warmth of a disturbance
When energy travels
With wings of passion through
Water, air and land. The
Wax and wane of moon stirs
Waves of ocean to swell:
Whirls of soft ebb and flow.

recked but pay no heed and through the wood's
to a gas station though some path witch thought it was warning
thick and dark
couldn't have caught me
 a rock 25 yard's to the left
it was early and they were on brunch
the stand still stood off silent
not even a twig snap in sight

Knowledge

Raised from the ruins of the past
Elevated view in the skies
Left the Earth,
Present,
In range of fraudulent colors,
Clearing the soul
Through the darkness that led
To a bright spot of Truth
Feeling the peace and disturbance
                              the joy and pain
of the Knowledge.

THE SEASONS

a cold touch of heart
the empty whiteness of eyes
nothing green survives

sudden disturbance
yesterday now tomorrow
nothing audible

before you know it
this verdant transformation
and bright warm blue sky

the northern god speaks
his breath cool and threatening
a shiver – goose bumps
Form: Haiku

Thought-Flights

Country's pleasant Thought-flights
City's rocked, ripped apart.
That upyelled of whose disturbance
Blows, bewilderingly.

To lighten, so lesson
All burdens, their headaches
One quietsome patch of sky, to lay
Whose sereneness upon.
Drop, as I drift, whose moorings' ton
Of care-weights, Earth-free.

Food For Thought

Self esteem is like glass

One tap or slight disturbance

It shatters into amillion pieces

Never the same again

It can be “fixed”

but not all the pieces will fit correctly

Warped and distorted

Fragile and at it’s best

Something else entirely

Thicker in some areas

Thin as a sheet of paper in others

Dysmorphia

They tell me,
“Your image isn't changing”
But they will never see
The ripples after the disturbance
The finger that messed with it
The fish that are spooked
The wavering reflection
The unspoken truth,
That it can never go back to how it was
Because that state is gone
And now the water will never be at peace.

Messieurs Temple of Life

This is a Messieurs Temple of high rank that disallows entry.
Here comes disturbance and confusion to dissuade at the door.
We will run fast, lock the entrance, and shout; now all is done.
