The Boss
The power of fear ,
Can summon a tear ,
Though tempered it gains you respect.

If abused , disrespected ,
Then scared and rejected,
You hurt ,
Instead of protect ....

Ukraine
You are Ukraine
I am alien to you
I am Ukrainian too
For all men, women, youth
Losses not to be accepted
Crosses and Church disrespected
Freedom is not free
But none can defeat Liberty...

Disrespected Youth
Disrespected youth, bug guts on a windshield
Happiness confronted with indifference
Sealed with plastic, it crinkles my tympanum
Washed aloft a cerulean sea
Blankets keep me warm, not safe...

Premium Member Shame On You
Never spoke unkindly
Never showed fury
Never insulted or disrespected
Never served as judge and jury

Behaved with quiet dignity
Words and actions ….honest and true
Never destructive or harmful
So shame on you!

Happy As Expected
I am as happy as expected
From being disrespected
Who has this affected
And must this be corrected
So no-one feels dejected
To stay and feel connected
Must show they are respected
To whom this is directed
Is the one that's not affected...

Premium Member Disrespected
Tongue lashing again,
Life's callous pecking order,
Choked on disrespect

The scourned feel detest,
The lack of gratitude stings,
Respect's a balance

Disrespectful self
Aching inside, the wound raw,
Self-love feels like salt...

cavernously eerie
echoes long dead
frosted over and irritated

grating silence
cold as ice
unforgiving, unyielding, just un…..

woods feels disapproved,
disrespected, unappreciated
rock solid hush dispels possibilities

slate and shale
hiding teensy glimmers of mica
shining like her ice heart

cavern rules
showing a presence
that scares many...

Fairytale Attraction
Broken down to absolutely nothing.
A body with no soul,
Her love has been rejected.

Never good enough, always being tested.
Where her heart really was.
She's been disrespected.

She fears every man
That seems interested.
She doesn't trust his words.
Proof is in his actions.

The pain haunts her dreams.
Of ever being happy.
She's hungry for true love
A fairytale story attraction....

A Woman
When God created a woman
He created his most
Prized possession
It’s been noted that
Behind every successful man
Is a woman
The greatest thing a
Woman can do is
Bring another life
Into the world
Which is why she
Deserves respect
She doesn’t need to be
Abused, mistreated or
Disrespected
She needs to be loved
And cheerios
A woman is not weak
Her weakness is only
For the one she truly loves
That’s why she puts up
A person that’s not good
For her...

My First Heart Break 'Excuse My French'
My body
you wrecked it.
My honor
you disrespected.
When I told you I loved you
I meant it.
Yet..
You. Didnt. Give. A. F**k.
I guess you could say I was down on my luck.
or
Was I suppose to swollow the pain?
and stay stuck in the same position again?
No. F**K THAT.
I dont want you back.
I Hope you enjoyed your times inside me.
Because now all the memories of us I push behind me.
And in time you will see
the best place you could ever be was beside me....

So Many Identities and Possibilties
Ladies, we are more than
our hips, thighs, booty, and our
breast size.
We are more than the color of our
eyes.
We are more than the length and
texture of our hair.
We are mothers, nurturers,
educators.
Survivors of deadly diseases
and survivors in life.
We are Adam's Rib
designed by GOD
put on this Earth as
our husbands backbone.
We are not allow ourselves
to become disrespected
nor should we disrespect anyone
else.
Women, so many identities so many
possibilities....

Premium Member Respect Is Automatic Until
Respect is automatic
until they have double-crossed you six times
spit in your underwear
and you have caught them in their eighth lie

Respect is cheerfully given
unless they hurt your feelings good and hard
unless they trip you at the top of the stairs
unless you overhear them making fun of you again

Respect is eagerly available
until they remind you of someone else
who has disrespected, hurt or betrayed you
If they do, it’s all over before it gets started....

Standing Corrected
When a person speaks in error
With a slip you have detected,
You’re often better staying mum
To keep yourself protected.

For setting someone straight
Is often not what is expected,
And there are those who might just feel
A little disrespected.

So next time some amending
To another soul’s directed,
You might prefer to stop before
Your remedy’s rejected.

Not many can quite graciously
Admit, when they’ve reflected,
That maybe they’ve misspoken and
Will therefore stand corrected....

Premium Member Castles In the Sand
~ An Allegory for the Holy Temple ~

Let me take you by the hand
and guide you through my box of sand
It was to be my Promised Land
'til things worked out not quite as planned

  My good friends I disrespected
So how could I have expected
to build dream castles in the sand
when for my conduct I was banned

I know that I'll return some day
No magic wand I need to wave
As long as I do not do to others ~
what I don't like, we'll all be brothers...
