Disrespected

Tongue lashing again,
Life's callous pecking order, 
Choked on disrespect 

The scourned feel detest,
The lack of gratitude stings,
Respect's a balance 

Disrespectful self
Aching inside, the wound raw,
Self-love feels like salt
