Disrespected Youth

Disrespected youth, bug guts on a windshield Happiness confronted with indifference Sealed with plastic, it crinkles my tympanum Washed aloft a cerulean sea Blankets keep me warm, not safe

Don't forget about the 'Rite of Passage', and the dues we all have to pay before we escape the cocoon. We all have gone through the formative years and many of us have felt slighted and misunderstood at times. When you escape the carefree bonds of youth and have to struggle to raise a family and make ends meat one day, you will look back on those days of yore with much more fondness. Even if you feel that you are being physically repressed, your mind and spirit cannot be conquered.
