A Boy Named Steve-
There once was a boy named Steve
who was always asked to leave,
for he'd let his snot drip,
dislodge it with a flip,
then wipe his nose on his sleeve....

So violently I believe

It was not purty
What idigestable morsel
Was I seeking to dislodge ?

Top of the Heap
John John and I are like two peas in a pod
Limerick masters, pretty hard to dislodge
The top of the heap
A real clean sweep
Guess you could say we're limerick gods...

Constipation - a Really Crap Poem
A professor has published his thesis
On removal of impacted faeces
Use the end of a pencil
Or a kitchen utensil
to dislodge clumps of faeces in pieces!
Told you it was a crap poem!

Pitch Dark Rain
expecting my home to dislodge
and rainwater to pillow my window panes
for it rains and rains and rains
insane days upon days
the dark disguise breeds imagination
for it pours pours pours
as the magician’s apprentice
dreams more and more

forks are multi purpose Tools
Forks can be multi-purposed.
I keep one in my purse for emergencies.
They are good to retrieve things that slide under booths in restaurants.
Helpful to dislodge cockleburs from dog's fur
Part my hair when I am waiting for a friend at Gilly’s Café.
A fork does not pull your hair as hard as a comb....

Couplet Message 8
Do I dare jest
With mortal flesh?
Shades, tints and hues
Colours past due
Hallway portraits
Memories raid
This motley few
Soup from ox's stew
Pain and disease
Unhinge sound ease
I wait and watch
Time must dislodge
Now play with pun
Fun on the run
Note shades of grey
Beyond slow sway
Another win
For the dustbin

Friends
When you are sad, I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against The sorry bastard who made you sad. When you were blue I will try to dislodge whatever you're choking on. When you smile I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in. When you're scared I will rag on you about it every chance I get. When you are worried I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it can be....

Gravitys Will
Pounding my fist hard!
Trying to dislodge emotion’s shards…
Pounding my fist, smashing
my glass menagerie…
Blood trickles from cuts deep!
Trying to pull the bitter weeds
from hurtful words
Feeling small screaming
into an empty room
Pulling the glass from my heart
as fast as one can, still…
Pounding the wall
Feeling distant in the hall
Blood settles at gravity’s will....

The pay back
The Adelsons, a rich Jewish family in the USA
Gave millions of dollars to Trump with the understanding of let Israelis move into the West Bank as we see the IDF are moving in there
Killing many, trying to dislodge the Palestinians
It appears what the failed to do in Gaza
The military are now brutalizing the local people, which is against the law, that as we know Israel does not respect

Super Sunday
Now it’s Roethlisberger versus Rodgers
To escape sacks, they’ll have to be dodgers
Two very strong defenses
Big egos and pretenses
When the ball’s caught, they’ll try to dislodge her
There are only 60 minutes to play
But these games last four hours anyway
Referee calls disputed
Jeers from the crowd unmuted
But the instant replays will save the day
Entry for Royal Trevino's contest...

Winter Robin
You dislodge snow-drifts,
wings flicker in the frost flakes –
a flame dancing,
a burning tiger in the wind flurry
you are.
My fingers press on the windowpane,
trace textures over a cold sheen of silence
observing how one bird can shine
in this blinding white.
The Robin mock-fights the snow
spears it, shakes dazzle
out of the air. Then it disappears
with its red-breasted, plumage
flashing a fire that reflects as sparks
in my eyes....
