Do I dare jest
With mortal flesh?
Shades, tints and hues
Colours past due
Hallway portraits
Memories raid
This motley few
Soup from ox's stew
Pain and disease
Unhinge sound ease
I wait and watch
Time must dislodge
Now play with pun
Fun on the run
Note shades of grey
Beyond slow sway
Another win
For the dustbin
