Ferrum 26
Modern-man is imprisoned
-inside iron-
he does not know what is
outside
-the self, he has lost
the beauty of a wild flower,
the friendship of wind,
the true acceptance of another,
only to win;
hard metal discs....

thinking
resting
      alone,
my
   thoughts
        wander
here,
     then
         there
stopping
landing
      then..
floating
       away
on
 the
breeze..
        of
        memory

Lucent the Whisper
There flies the moon, again.

That disc of solid silver,
craters the eyes ever watching -
more than mere sight its light illuminating.

There fly my hopes, again.

Those two discs of glorious green,
hers the eyes I was watching -
behind them mirth and mystery shining....

Unlearned Literacy
UNLEARNED LITERACY!
  -Dharga Nagar Safa

My mother is old but with a good vision,

She reads papers and writes with a pen in a fashion,

She was counted a LITERATE in all desks,

She didn't learn computer literacy and away from the computer discs,

What does she now in her new records of accurate?

AN ILLITERATE!!!...

Nimble Music
Nimbleness on my piano softly.
I hear the notes on high lofty.

Others come, and tickle tunes.
Listening intently, in my room.

We've moved and taken it with.
I play for my puppies, a gift.

It sits again in my dining area.
In tune, wooden condition fair.

For now it sits. I hear discs long
All day as my player plays on....

Make a Wish
Make it so that all hearts' discs are unformatted,
To rid them of hatred, greed and discrimination.
Pray they become clean and pure, as when created.
Teach them anew; love, generosity and compassion
To ensure a bright future for our next generation!

Wanting Waiting
Wanting Waiting

Waiting for my lower back to heal
Wanting to work to much pain I feel
Two slow weeks gone bye still I cry
Crying for independence in my mind
MRI shows herniated discs no bliss
Doctor said it will take time no date
No date give me a break body over mind
Guess I have no choice my body ruling time
Wanting waiting feelings of pure frustration...

Records
They did something in the late eighties that was bad.
They stopped selling records and that made me mad.
I'm upset because I can no longer buy records in the stores.
They still make a few records but nothing like they did before.
Compact discs replaced records because they sound better and don't wear out
like records do.
But I wish that I could still buy records too....

In the Beginning
They say that God created man
but not in just one night

Did he also create those we've seen
in flying discs so bright?

That were seen so many years ago
and carved upon the caves

That landed in the desert sands
and mingled with the slaves

That crossed the oceans rapidly
in the flicker of a light

From Continent to Continent
then disappeared from sight........

Premium Member What My Father Told Me
If you don't have anything nice to say,
     then don't say anything...

Keep your nose out of other people's business...

Don't go where you're not wanted...

When in Rome, do as the Romans do...

"On time" means ten minutes early...

Everything in moderation...

These echoes, discs spinning in my head, linger long...

If only I had listened to what my father told me......

Are Vcrs Extinct?
Has DVD replaced VHS?
Most people probably say yes.
A lot of people probably say that VCRs are yesterday's news.
I like DVD players but I like VCRs too.
I especially liked the older pop up VCRs and the VCRs that could record in LP.
Many people may like the idea of VCRs becoming extinct but it's not okay with me.
It's true that DVD discs are better than VHS cassettes.
But if VCRs go out, it will be something that I'll regret....

Premium Member Beatle Mania
When the fab four hit the floor
Back in the year of sixty four
We all would scream and shout
Now we wonder what it was all about
We bought the records one by one
Long discarded these discs now done
Songs that have come and gone
Sweet memories of a favorite one
Let It Be was the one I liked
Records to number one did spike
Now a couple guys are dead and gone
Now Paul sings to them a tribute song
Memories will linger of the past
Beatle Mania will survive and last.

Lips Eclipse
Fifteen minute utter cohesion exists
Selene umbra shielded is dust kissed
Coinciding of inland and coastal discs

Earth Moon orbit drawn in magnetism
Spherical cycled symmetry, safety given
Invisible fingers tap tunes to their rhythm

Red emits forbidden midnight miracle
Hottest wanton, dual crossing elliptical
Helios wavelength cottons moon's spool

26th May 2021
Aus will have prime view of blood super moon
Eclipse tonight

Premium Member A Trip Better Skipped -- Aka: Docs These Days
His soft tissue, it ripped
All his discs, they had slipped
To the ER, the ambulance zipped
To right this poor fellow's ship

His wife's hand he gripped
   On the worrisome trip
His whole world had flipped
   His wings had been clipped...

The monitors blipped
   His confidence dipped
Liquid steroids he sipped
   Drip-drip, drip-drip

Here the doc snipped
   Over there did he clip
Then he grinned, and he quipped
   'You've no more spine
     ~ Just a postscript.'...
