Demean
His words were meant to demean
While putting on a big scene
He spoke harsh and loud
Made a scene for the crowd
He had drank lots of coffee with caffeine...

Clever
I hate the word clever,
  it seeks to demean

With hidden entendre’
  and devious schemes

I hate how it sounds,
as it rolls off the tongue

To strike from all language
   —if my power was sum

He's passive-aggressive,
Controlling, it's true.
If you will let him
He'll control you, too.

No friends for you,
You've got him,
It is true.

He thinks he's the best
That you'll ever do.
He's mean,
He's obscene.

He'll demean,
He's not clean,
He was not forseen....

40
I took a taxi fare today,
Oh lord!
From a blind boy who could not see
And when I dropped him off
I dared not scoff
Because I am not
The reason the boy has never seen
Who only the benially ignorant
Would choose to demean
A boy who lives above his means
Showing me in all my 40 years
This is the most insignificant
I have ever felt...

Integrity
All hail
E mail
You realize
That you can criticize
Because you cant see
Me
You will say anything next
On your anonymous texts
You don't care if we look
At your facebook
And the hate you spew
Because we will never meet you
You can insult, demean and lie
For your cyber courage is high
I just wonder when
Integrity will return again...

Listen to poem:
Just when we thought
wars were well and truly over,
done and dusted -
Russia invades Ukraine.
No mettle for friends
to take up arms.
to don the coat of arms
and fight tooth and nail
to quell the invader.
Instead its alms that are offered
and sanctions to starve and demean
the invader's will to fight.
It's a new World Order
at arm's length....

Festers and Does Demean
Festers and Does Demean

Falsehood festers and does demean;
Results can turn you into foolish Fein,
Who knows he will and tries to survive,
And his greatest ability is to connive.

Lies like an animal who has been hurt,
While all the tragic issues he will skirt;
All he leaves are bad feelings behind;
Should be impeached or asked to resign.

Love's Referral
Hate............,
this is so far from true,
it's quite the opposite, love speaks the truth,
opening up the heart bringing you hear,
opening up your eyes to search past the fear,
through gifts freely given, we share from one to another,
so stop searching my heart just to demean it,,my brother,
in all sincerity, go search the new,
for the old is only what we once knew....

Stigma
Frightful feelings flush his face,
damned to dance with his disgrace,
stigma stained though sight unseen,
damaged days depress, demean.

Silent secrets simmer, sulk,
hardened hairy heartless hulk,
oracle of all obscene,
decoy demons daunt his dreams.

Witless words waging war,
baleful bully, beastly bore,
cancer catches in his craw,
fury was his fatal flaw....

Stages of Life
(An Acrostic)

Sweet baby but helpless alone
Teen years were a trial
Adult enough to leave home
Good advice in denial

Everyone learns the hard way
So sure they know what to do
Only chance for retribution
For you to see what they go through

Life is good with their baby
I see there's trouble with their teen
Face it dear they have to leave
Even though your counsel they demean...

My dear, hear me and not my perceived guilt
For my distancing quiet you demean
It is not a wall but a guard I built
To keep my darker heart in quarantine
A bitter thorn in a twisted ravine
If some midnights produce a muzzled roar
Escaping the planks of my placid floor
Allow me this one secret to withhold
It is for our love I don't show you more
These stones too crushing to leave uncontrolled

Tis' Tender, My Love
'Tis tender love of which I wite;
the timbre of my heart's
throe

Quean remains
for all others
to lo

Demean with a falseness
of my true emotion;
would only coquet;
that which causes
my heart to beat
strong and loud
in chimera

To covet for affections
be returned as
deep and sincere;
surely would force
the last
breath I breathe

For this is too
noble a love; too
fierce a fire
to extinquish...

Not In My Name
I was programmed by my genes
And by my family not to demean
For my Christian teachings agree
To help the oppressed to be free
And give us all a clear indication
How to behave within our nation

I wonder how I would have felt
If as a Muslim believer I was dealt
Others as a terrorist in my name
Cutting heads off for the fame
Or would mighty Allah teach me
To listen kindly to their plea?

Dirty Hands
I scrub and scrub but my hands aren't clean,
they're still dirty from the filth I've seen.
The things I've heard words I've spoke,
and every dirty filthy joke.
Although to you the filths not seen,
I feel the grit in cracks between.
Why the strange look on your face,
you are in my very place.
You could use a little scrub a little soap,
a lot of rub.
Im not speaking to demean,
you know yourself your hands aren't clean....

Jon Stewart, sometimes host of The Daily Show ridicules Trump,
then dares jump to the other side and does the same to Biden.
His viewers won't buy that second one, all caterwauling,
You didn't warn me/them/us/they/he/she/vis or the xemeself
That you had intention to go rogue and do that tit for tat!
Go ahead and demean the Don, he's earned every bit of it,
But leave old Joe alone, he deserves our love and loyalty!

Purple Lips
Her lips are purple with words
that crown and not demean;

Her mind is laced with golden threads of
thoughts seamed into rational words;
on them are actions like embroideries,
hand crafted by wits above sweaty brows,
by wisdom above hard labour.

Her purple lips is beyond the shade of a purple lipstick
Smudged on her lips while she gazed at reflection in a mirror,
But it is a shade of her femininity beyond just being pretty....

You In Me Iii
Though subtle, at times it seems,
I do hold you in high esteem.
I really try to do my best
To satisfy all your needs.
I respect you,
And I support the path that you lead
You'll never have to worry about
Me trying to cook up a scheme
With an ulterior motive
To exploit and demean
I understand loyalty
And that we play on the same team
My ambition is to please
And never to compete
Competition may win for one,
But will destroy the "we"....

COPLA 107 RESOLUTION : This Bad Guy World

The Good Bad or the Bad Good Guys
All the shades of meanness in between
Do Bad Guys clean

Neither talent nor intelligence lies
On one side or the other’s esteem :
Can genes be mean

Chances are that growing up makes one mean
Those who have not feed on customs faith
Looks status and fame

All conspire the Good Guys to demean
The thought that one’s god rewards not faith :
What utter shame

Queen
She walked around in faded jeans, she looked like Halloween.

She was obscene, would act really mean. She was only in her teen's, it was all a smokescreen.

Til one day she was creating a scene, someone came and intervened.

And let her know, she don't have to be obscene nor demean because she's a true Queen.

Now she's in Magazines and on The Big Screen.

So if you are in your teen's or umpteen, love cuisine or come on like a marine.

Remember, deep inside there lies a Queen....
