Shouts, Yells, Screams, Rants, Raves
Bullhorn-magnified Bombast
"Decapitate him!"
Why don't the police stop it?
What happened to enforcement?

Gentle rain.
How patient it is,
working delicately
all through the night
with its little fingers,
hand in hand
with gravity,
to decapitate a rose

Deliver the speech to avoid an explosion
Depress animosities rightful emotions
Decapitate that which would delay our cause
Desire the path made by the Lord
Disable powers to fight and defraud
Deposit the heroism that history records
Deserve the gifts of obediences reward

Premium Member The Day They Decapitate Me

the day they decapitate me
will be the day
I stop showing up for work
They will have to hire someone else
To sit here writing poems, pretending I am listening
To make personal phone calls, pretending I am working
I may not say anything
when it happens
but I will be furious.

Allah and the Profit

ISIS-K blew up a girls' school*
al-Qaida claim flogging is cool
No girl is worth
A clump of earth
Wherever the Taliban rule

Jihadists strive to be lanky
To decapitate a Yankee
If Allah were judge
Would He prefer fudge
To another bloodstained hanky?

Nothing Has Changed Your, Wicked Ways

Over two thousand gone by
Still trying to figure out just how
Another can take the life of someone
Whom raised their dead ? Or decapitate
His baby because they didn't condone such
Evil as taking perhaps this greatest love her gift
Left languishing amid deja vu's, twenty first century....
Lexicon's litter less majesty: altars volcanos venom subtle.

No Escape

The tremendously strong
grizzly bear, tooth and claw
will tear you raw.

You hear
a echoing and harrowing
roar, what's in store?

You
contemplate your fate.
Razor sharp claws that can
decapitate.

A thirst for blood
one drops enough, he'll track
you down with a snarling frown.

He cant stop now in this final
hour, he wants you fully
devoured.

Premium Member Tolerance

Tolerance By Tom 11-14-2016 We live in an age where we lack tolerance, And others actions or words we smother. Concerned entirely with our selfish agenda, And filled with hatred toward our brother; We often try to decapitate with words, Then ruefully seek some way of undoing. By excuse or outright denial, we’re saying, My thoughts, perhaps you’re, misconstruing.

The Angels of the True God

The angels
of the
true God
Fly in
mid heaven
Searching
 the hearts
of men
Reporting back
to their Father
what they read
in the hearts
of men
The horsemen
of the
Apocalypse
The dark horses
of death
Weilding
their swords
of righteousness
to decapitate
the unholy
from among
our kind
to bring in
a new order
of righteous
mankind
To start anew
what was lost
in Paradise

This Time

Violence of every kind,
In spirit that is lost,
Flagrant to extol the mind,
And therefore at a cost,

History that’s godless spent,
In crushing dreams below,
Decapitate the mind that’s meant,
To be what we might know,

Power twisted on its side,
Contorted with such greed,
Beastly cravings must confide,
The bowels of human need,

Godless as we carry on,
Bereft a lonesome chime,
Babies born another dawn,
Change they say this time.

Heroin Or Heroine

Heroin or Heroine?
by Michael R. Burch

(for mothers battling addiction)

serve the Addiction;
worship the Beast;
feed the foul Pythons
your flesh, their fair feast ...

or rise up, resist
the huge many-headed hydra;
for the sake of your Loved Ones
decapitate medusa.
