rush in days of spring
your gardens filled with sleepy rhyme

Daffodil of your eye, hiraeth cried
Coracle of the lake
Pili palas on your head
Twelve dwts cwtch buwch goch gota
A daffodil boat UNSUPPORTED CODE
in a river of bright light UNSUPPORTED CODE
yellow springtime comes UNSUPPORTED CODE
The backdrop of frost
A lone daffodil conducts
Winter's Requiem .
For Carol's Spring Haiku contest ..
snowdrops awaken
fair maid February-
Spring around the corner.
white double daffodil
sprinkles Spring-
aroma upon my sill
purple violets
picket fence hides the rough stuff
family misery.
yellow daffodil
showing the world perky,
fooling the neighbors

Daffodils surround
my scent dipped into your soul
amber streaks of love
electrify my sky
with you I'm alive
with you by my side
Delany's scissors were like a brush
bringing the art lteratti to a hush
Her paper Pancratium* daffodil
with Matisse-like cut-out** skill
Hyacinth and daffodil
bloom on yonder verdant hill
Though roses struggle to emerge
thorns impaled on concrete's dirge
A lifelong process
That lifelong obsesses
With lifelong failure
Or lifelong success,
As a daffodil
Must fall
Before it is noon
Then nothing can heal.
the sweet sun is bound to rest-
to melt is the tomorrow of the glaciers;
wither will be the daffodil, though at her best
to cry is the future of our laughters...
High on a hill
A solitary daffodil
I see your face
That I want to embrace
Up the hill I climb
Your being is sublime
Your lips I miss
Your lips I want to kiss
xanthic daffodil
your bright trumpet heralds Spring
robin builds a nest

Dilly O daffodil!
Day is sunny and bright.
Driven by zephyr winds.
Delight of fairy wings.
Dolorous on the dirt.
Dainty one lies below.
Drizzling on cherub cheeks.
Quiet are the hyacinths
Underneath the snows
Irises and violets
Even the red rose
Today are lying silent
Underneath the snows
Daffodils and lilacs
Even the red rose.
with a yellow trumpet nose and orange stamen
the lovely daffodil lead Michigan’s floral parade
always the first flower to push through to March
natural leader of the garden band
Damsels in golden frocks,
Dance in warm Spring breezes.
Distinctive trumpet blooms
Dazzle the eyes after
Dreary Winter's grey gloom.
Delightful in bouquets,
Dangerous if eaten.
peaceful morning light
everything’s all right
sun spree
rooster crows so bright
releasing the night
moon flee
dew comes out with might
daffodil with height
loves me
I was going to buy you flowers for this day
maybe some roses, tulips, or a daffodil.
Instead, we had to pay that darned electric bill.
Deciding to stay warm instead of some bouquet.
It almost appears to me to have a face,
and perception.
Somehow it seems to be attentively looking out,
and quietly considering within.
I am glad our paths crossed,
and I met you.
Trump Did Become Dumb Daffodil
Trump Did Become Dumb Daffodil.
Who would have a thrill at Capital;
We did demand,
He take a stand;
So he escaped to Mars in a capsule.

Dreamscape of daffodils
Designed in acrylic
Depicts saffron smeared faith
Dawning of balmy views
Deep pink and purple hues
Drifting through musky air
Darling, you'll find me there
Delightful garden bloom
Dazzling colored flower
Delicate stemmed petals
Double-headed beauty
Decorates yards in Spring
Drink in its fragrant scent
