To Close To This Flame
The rice paper-moth
Still drawn in,
By this orange flame
The dance become the trance
Your wings
Are not made of wax, but
Made of rice paper
Remember, Icarus and Daedalus
Do not fly too close to the sun...

Nessuna Rosa Rossa
we arose hero's
of up front no
common but
nonsense
combat

strategically
statistically
self survival
of some
kind

of defense
depending
on a deep
sense of
fight

or flight
but Icarus
don't go too
close to the sun
son said Daedalus...

Too Close To the Sun
The Prince of Darkness
Flapped his wings across the sun
Eyes from Hades and serpent tongue
Hovered in the brimstone sky
Like an imperial dragonfly
And said unto Icarus,
“Ye shall not surely die, if ye
Flies too close to the sun”
Daedalus, still blinded by the devil’s lie...

Dreams In My Heart
I sit by my window and
Shower in this galaxy of
Stars through my head

Fly Icarus
Fly Daedalus
Away from the sun

Reach into the eyes of
Heaven and speak to the soul

Walk with the gods and
Discover brand new worlds

Ride the chariot
Across the universe and
Drink with the Gods

Only God can put
These dreams in
My heart...

Premium Member Icarus Falling
Daedalus in his heart wept
While far below plunged Icarus
A father's words unheeded
Both sun and sea corrupted
Wax melting,feathers heavy with spray
What a poor fisherman witnessed
Uncomprehendingly
Youth's folly to ignore a wise head.
The artificer flew on,joyful to have left his labyrinth
Broken to see his son die.
That spot would forever be called the Icarian Sea
The hideous blot of a dark memory....

The Great Caesarean Splendor
The great Caesarean splendor
And his roaring empire's reign
Fleeting things be mortal hopes
May a monument remain?

Daedalus, Ah Daedalus
Lend your feathers toward the sky
Adonai, my God on high
Faith with holy flames reward!

Strikes a stone, a stone
Iron and clay to dust subdue
To cruder substance enamoured
A mask of gold embraces sod
A silent elegy.

The Lord's kingdom shall forever reign

Amen...

Daedalus Dares Dandelion
5star tuning fork then. Interesting information from a cat who is curled on a very high shelf. Street credibility is neither two frogs in matching hats or a piñata. Oh drapes then. Opinionated official onion oaths on orderly ordained octagonal oceanographic oranges. No boats. Hahahaha and now a long lengthy bean discussing pines in lines. Hahahaha and fortress of fork. Blame not a seafood oriented programming language. Xxxx Daedalus z...

Be damned your uncle Daedalus.
Of your ingenuity, he is so jealous.
I saw him push you off the Acropolis.
How could he exhibit behavior so atrocious?
I, Athena, was aware of your strife.
I turned you into a bird to save your life.
Your existence was spared by flapping your wings.
Daedalus paid dearly for these things.
I have branded him with a bird’s image on his face.
That will remind him of his personal disgrace.
He will be scorned and derided in any place....
