What Makes Me Happy
What makes me happy? There are many long lists:
I don’t want IV tubes attached to my wrists.
I also don’t need any malignant cysts.
If drugs can keep my hypertension at bay,
I hopefully can live to see another day.
When the ambulance comes to take me away,
I hope there won’t be any traffic tie-ups that day.
I receive far less than I ever give.
Despite my problems, I want to continue to live.
What makes me happiest of all you say?
