Lipstick Lips
Lipstick Lips

Lipstick red lips on
Tombstone remains. Bloody red
Roses kiss the cold
Breath of death, crystallizing
Hearts overcome by the flame

A NATIVE SON’S SUNSET AT MO’BAY

As the sun kissed
the sea’s soothing bosom,
caressing waves splashed the shores
leaving spent froth
dissipating in the sand:
crystallizing aged memories
of sadistic slave ships once anchored here....

Seasonal
When earths abundant harvest, nature displays.
Then farmers will face, ever shortening days.
As wet days of summer, change to shivering chills.
Swirling light snow, veils those far distant hills.
With white hoar frost silvering, autumns dead leaves.
And long icy fingers, crystallizing on eaves.

Nexus of One
Continuously phantasmagoric is its vitality,
Crystallizing within the depths of my spirituality,
Sanctuary against the maleficent reality,
Encompassing past the fortification of mentality,
Dependency upon its draught of lethality,
Praying for the verisimilitude of immortality,
Enlightened after necrosis, for entwinement in universality...

Shells of Winter
She feels to be broken, cast out and unkempt
to be left unwoken cocoon-like and bent
The egg shell of winter in powdered dust air
like fingers, like tendrils of wilt in her hair
Honesty in the room, blue and stiff beaten
like egg whites of snow crystallizing horizons
Just bury her too early sundown confessions
for she's lost in the shells of her pastime possessions...

Left It All Behind

Left it all behind!
hadn’t planned it
just sorta…. well…..
felt that shadow
creeping closer,
a chill……. following
my every movement,
an icy angst
crystallizing memory,
shades….. slowly drawing
on the windows
of the soul.
No ticket
No boarding pass
No tomorrow
Left it all behind.

Ode To Tear Drops
Legends be told, and written in tomes of a creature which roams the residence of the family: Lee-
Through shrubs and trees, though silent and unseen, it seeks seeds-
Ones of fire. Ones of sweet.
The creature seen only when: upon them, it feeds, simultaneously.
Its form of a boar with a tongue of alchemy, ignites in a spectrum of brilliancy. Hovering eyes remain but for a moment and weep vehement tears; crystallizing with the essence of harvest....
