Left It All Behind
Left it all behind!
hadn’t planned it
just sorta…. well…..
felt that shadow
creeping closer,
a chill……. following
my every movement,
an icy angst
crystallizing memory,
shades….. slowly drawing
on the windows
of the soul.
No ticket
No boarding pass
No tomorrow
Left it all behind.
