Premium Member A Murder of Crows

a murder of crows
gathering in the gloaming,
swarming o'er gravestones...
denigrating the deceased?
or a macabre mourning?

Suppose Crows Go On Clothes

Suppose Crows Go On Clothes

we always suppose
we would see all of the crows
going on our clothes

Butterflies and Crows

Crows chase butterflies
As they try to catch beauty,
Perfection runs away
Into the dusk of the early 'morn
While crows wait eagerly.

Premium Member Why the Rooster Crows

The reason the rooster will crow,
Is not just to offily show.
The sun hits its beak,
Which it thinks unique,
And proudly lets all the world know.

Crows

Consummation
Procreation
Completion

In peace
And war
Crows soar

To remind us all
Of eternal,
Eternal hearts,
Eternal souls,

Love is
Eternal.

I saw a
Gray Squirrel
Remove his
Fluffy Coat!

He was as
Naked as a
Scrub Jay!

And then he
Flew Away!

Premium Member A Murder of Crows

A murder of crows
A crowd of pigeons
A mob of mealworms
Hedgehogs? A smidgen

A swarm of swans
A drove of ducks
A throng of turkeys
This horde is full of un-lucks

The Murder of the Crows

Birds in broken wings
grieve through mourning eerie skies
Humming death's anthem

Haiku: Sound By Crows

Crows announced
Arrival of guest
In harsh sound

Authour's Note:
In India, it is believed that if the crows make noise at your door then some of your
guests may arrive.

Crows

I suppose the crows that rest on the fence, of past tense
Gather their meals from the lives they steal,
I happen to know that one of those still circling crows,
is owed my soul

Immortal Crow

Cloak in timeless black, crows fly with a superior eye.
They know of hidden knowledge
while humans study in college.
Their wings extend as they ascend,
Cloak in timeless black.

Premium Member Black Crows

Hear those two black crows?
They kept me awake last night
And when I did sleep
Situations were a fright
I wonder? Is there a law?...............................................

Premium Member A Flock of Crows

Over lambent plains
of blond wheat,
braided spikes
rustling
in flaxen breeze,
a flock of crows
seesaws
like obsidian scythes
in cider firmament
under harvest sun's afternoon eye.

Well here we are, another great day The chickens are fed, the cows have hay The crows are squawking Wild animals are stalking All's copacetic, think I'll practice ballet

Premium Member Sad When You Steal a Crows Toe

Mrs. Barnaby Crow has lost her husband’s toe.
She saved it from his coffin deep in the snow.
Wore it as a key chain, it had a claw with a glow.
Whoever has stolen it, is pretty downright low.

Quiet the Winter Crows

snow falls flakes
cling to trees

barking dogs grow
silent for the moment

corroding wire fences
brown dying grass

a spider scales
the white cracking ceiling

the highway
echoes

Premium Member murder of crows

murder of crows
was this decided before or after Poe’s poem?
Wait
That was a raven
larger than a crow
more fierce
but still ugly
with an annoying caw
I understand where murder might enter into it
