The Murder of the Crows

Birds in broken wings
grieve through mourning eerie skies
Humming death's anthem

(Inspired by Raul's contest-Tattered Wings)
not for the contest

Crows are one of my favorite subjects. I suppose some people consider them evil and kill them, but crows are one of our finest preservers of domain. Good luck in the contest, Charma. Love, daver

Charmaine, I was thinking you have included a play on words in your title of this haiku too? (a murder of crows). Excellent writing! Aloha, Connie P.S. The poetic term for a bunch of crows is a "murder." No scientist calls them that, only poets. Scientists would call it a flock.
