England's John Ruskin
a critic when he first did begin
Water colour though was his passion
in this genre he did ever belong
Art critic John Rushkin
thought some painting an expression of sin
He drew still life in the main
dying at 81& a little insane
Otto Muller from Germany
briefly in Die Brucke grouping was he
His art though a little primitive
something a critic can forgive
Critic
is a
person
expresses
a view
on something
based on merit
of art work
with great skill.

My inner critic suffers the most,
Constantly told to muck off,
I don’t like his ways he's not my friend,
I cant stand his "playing host".
Form:
Gabriel groaning:
" Another Godzilla flick!" ( 3 second delay on sound track.)
Almighty critic. ( Cue theme music and metallic pipe organ roar.)
"Do you have an
'Inner Critic'
inside your head
'raining on your parade...?'
Instead, replace with love,
for all else
is just a charade."
The French poet&critic Baudelaire
made many a quote sans a care
Genius, being chi!dhood retrieved, at will
a childhood.. equipped with adult skill
There was a young lady who swore
That the movies were simply a bore:
Someone asked, “Not to pry,
But could you explain why?”
The rejoinder was merely a snore.
Words Race
How does a poet critic lead mankind?
How does he gain so much clout?
His opinions race men.

Once there was a man called Easter Ethics
behaves in a mischievous teasing way, critic
“heat and fun motivates
if mutual trust is active”
bloody! ethical rascals amaze writers by critique.
Happy birthday, dear Antoneth,
A critic leaves chilly remark,
Then indicates in the same breath
That the book will provide a spark.
Topic: Birthday of Antoneth A. Alfonso (March 19)
Egotistical,
a mystical being.
Lyrical,
haters feed my ego.
You see my horns?
Demoniacal,
I'll quiet the critic scorns.
What are you hating for?

Social critic and novelist Charles Dickens -
The plot of his every book so interestingly thickens!
Not only the creator of Scrooge was he;
He revived the Christmas spirit for you and for me.
Perused all the new poems up for today
There are some stunners I really must say
But then there are some
That are really quite bum
Mine's not much better, but I still want to play
A painter once was asked
why his figure were divine
but his children so ugly
that it should be a crime.
The painter replied,
“This is my plight.
I make pictures by day,
but children by night.”
Politicians preaching now religions
Religious souls practicing now politics
Politicians in critic of ones in religions
Religious in critic of ones in politics
In silence innocent masses in between
George Bernard Shaw,
A critic with a vein of comedy and language, quite raw;
He wrote in a movable shack, he liked photography now and then,
Ladies man, died at 94, cremated and planted in his garden.
The Critic

The critic not revealing to me a face
I acknowledge not and give no voice.
While from shadows he leaves no trace
His actions are mandated by choice.
Beauty can be only traced by one that has a heart and soul of pure LOVE and never by a
critic, Their art piece would never be completed

A better critic
than writer…
Your tongue sharpens,
as your pen hacks
Bastardized on the altar
of cold description
Disavowed by the jilted Muse,
—ink bleeding red

At what point exactly ?
Is one entitled to call oneself a poet ?
Is it when you think you have written something noteworthy of consequent ?
Or a critic adversary or peer referring
to a work by name not with disdain ?
When she was young she was her own critic, bad.
She had a stormy face and tried to always be mad.
She thought her world was awful, and was determined to be sad
Now she is older, frumpy and grumpy, and in no way happy or glad.
He became a poet critic with a student loan,
quite like a Simon Cowell getting in their poetry zones,
scouring all the poet websites,
some poets not thinking it was right,
his constant critiquing making them all groan and moan.
