Jesus Aquando
learned all about pitching from Brando
coulda been a contenda
till Stella decided to question his genda.
Not all of us ‘Eat, Pray, Love’.
One plate: a minefield
of coulda, woulda, shoulda,
of clink and clatter
long after a bite.
Taste lingers,
here!
Midnight came like doomed fates
And your eyes refused to see
into your self
What coulda been
So broken was the flesh
Not even a scream ever dared thunder forth
from perfect lips
too busy in a war of kisses
I could have done it, but I wouldn't
I would have done it, but I shouldn't
I should have done it, but I couldn't
I didn't do it, but I wanted
You could ask me why I didn't
If I knew that, I would have done it
I coulda written that song, “Purple Rain.”
It didn’t take that big of a brain.
And I coulda written that song “Hotel California.”
But girl - I do wanna warn ya!
I’ve always been considered at least halfway insane.
I coulda keyed your car
I coulda shot your dog
I coulda burned your stupid deer-stand down
but instead i broke your heart
I left with my head held high my dignity intact
I left you cryin like a baby beggin for me to come back
Old
Coulda'
Shoulda'
Woulda'
It Usually Goes In
That ORDER.
But That's Plagiarism!

And this body ink has stained my skin
I coulda been
Im beautiful
All these ideas
Scarred in detail
Its getting dull there starting to fade
All the bright colours effecting my brain
So much judgement
I feel peace
This art makes me at ease
Im beautiful

TRESPASSING
Here I am
Your dream girl.
I heard you say it
When you mauled
And crawled
My skin
And tore it
Of prudence, and
(nine! nine! only nine!)
Every coulda shoulda woulda
Took hold and didn’t.
And now
I am here
Because you
Were there
Calling me dream girl.
I could
I should
Wait
But I'm done
Done
With all them
I would
I should
Look again
But you broke me
Broke
Everything I had
I should
I could
Forgive you
But you never call
Call
To show you care
I should
I would
Let you in
But we already know
Know
How that goes

A trilobite born in a pond
thought that he would evolve
But untutored was he in DNA
gene puzzles he just couldn't solve
Two million years or three went by
his fossil embedded in clay
Just think if he'd known about DNA
He'd be on your fish plate today
I didn't talk to beauty, I shoulda
If I hadn't froze up, I woulda
I had the chance, I coulda
If I wasn't such a wuss, I shoulda
Just say hi, I woulda
And start a conversation, I coulda
She walked right by, as she shoulda
Didn't notice me, but woulda
If I just said hi, I coulda
Remember me not
For who I once was
But for who I will Become
After all I’ve done
After all I’ve put you through
I don’t really know what to do,
Do you?
If you coulda, shoulda, woulda
Been my girl
Remember me not
For who I once was
But for who I will
Become

“Say, didja get a load of that mailman’s stride?”
“If he’d been breathing any harder, I think he woulda died.”
“I think we coulda caught him, if only we’d tried.”
“I guess we got distracted by those kids out for a ride.”
“Yeah, we'll get him next time. Hey, pass the rawhide.”

In the heat of prior confrontations,
My tongue, well then, was typically tied.
Later, with all the right conjugations,
Well then, my tongue, so easily replied.
CURSES, I Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda said,
But, no one heard, as I softly mumbled.
Cuz, all the right words, dancing in my head,
Tripped out of my mouth, completely jumbled!
I've seem em come
I've seem em go
down to the Wayward Social
that's where I'll go
Where the floors are cold
made from wood of old
and the walls they whisper
of times long ago
But I will not whimper
nor moan nor gasp
as what's done is done
it belongs to the past
Coulda shoulda woulda
when I had the chance
I wish I could see you
for one more glance

you haffa come jake, rodeo won’t be fun without yew.
I’m sorta gonna help with the wrangl’n.
Jake coulda gone, but he wanted to see Sally
new dance hall girl that worked in the big saloon
musta made six excuses, lotsa them
I gotta meet Bob he lied
Don’t wanna try for the silver belt buckle?
Jake shoulda gone rodeoing.
who knew Sally woulda married?
Lesson learned - lying don’t ever help a cowboy.

You don't gotta, 'cos you don't hafta

snuck or sneaked
lotsa stuff like this
if I knew how to address you
Mrs., Ms., or Miss?
I LOVE ME
IN ALL MY DIMENSIONS
MY TOO FAT DAYS
MY WISHA COULDA DAYS
THOSE TIMES WHEN I
WISH I WAS RIGHT
EVEN WHEN I COULD'VE
BEEN WRONG
IT INCREASES MY
SELF ESTEEM TO
LOVE ME
OFTEN I FEEL
ALONE
WHEN YOU COMPARE
MY LIFE
TO THAT OF THOSE
WHO ARE LESS FORTUNATE
I STOP AND THINK
OF THE CONSEQUENSES
OF NOT BEING ME
AND THAN
I JUST SING
A SONG
AND DANCE MY

Some of us are here for reason.
Some, just hear for seasons but...
there are sum of us.
Just hear for the fun.
We build ships with fingertips to
set you free! Mixed up notions of
emotions and potions even about
eternity. That's Write. It coulda
all been made up.
And know Just so two show the point...
My title has nothing to do with my rhyme.
Or my 'English'... lol!!! and that's a Spin.

Form:
Regrets I have a few today,
time flew by as the month of May,
ambitious thoughts I put off yesterday...
Looking back at my plowed fields I stumbled,
a reaping what I sowed kind of fumble,
out busy staying alive like Travolta,
menial day jobs and doing the hustle,
Barely making it in the work jungle,
still sorting out life's jigsaw puzzle,
shoulda, woulda, coulda my motto,
writing helping me out of my dark tunnel.

I know it's too little.
I know I'm too late...
I guess I expected time to stop...
For time to just wait...
It's over...
You needed me and where was I...?
When you lay dying in bed.?
Too caught up in my head...
These flowers on your grave mean nothing...
The tears I cry are pointless...
It's too little...
Too late...
I should have been there til the end.
Shoulda, woulda, coulda...
It doesn't mean anything now...
Too little.
Too late.
