The sun shines behind the clouds
As the wind cools up the weather
Morning wakes, the whispy fog
All that is left, is coming of snow
Blazing sun scotching
Blue skies shrouds me from vile heat
Cotton candy clouds
Kisses of breeze cools warm skin
Daylight dreams visions of love
The soup has spilled
boiling hot
into my lap.
Howl upon howl
cools nothing.
I must go
and leave an empty bowl
where it lies on the floor.
Form:
Deep in heat, a slice of shade
Runs from stern sun; damp bare glade
Cools too few, too thin the dew
One more lost door, blue haze fade...

Shadetree cools the ground
fluffy white clouds, hide harsh rays
Perfect summer day

Words appear as
fire in my bones
memories like fuel on red ashes
Writing things down
cools the hot flames burning
At the end of the day
I am who I am
Hollywood clowns
spend two thirds of their lives
trying to make people laugh
but when laughter cools and make-up cracks
they get off on making people cry
Autumn cools
winter freezes
spring warms up
summer burns
normal cycle of life
no matter what
man's claim ...
The rain falls and splashes my window pane
Washing it clean, leaving it wet
It cools a surface left hot by the sun
And create disorder on a surface once bare
Comfort
Can you name it?
To me it’s a bathroom floor
It cools an aching body
Till I must succumb once more

The side effects of chemo are real!
dizzy dance of leaves
falling, evergreens crooning,
tire swing swiveling,
swords clashing, children laughing
bluster brisk as battle cools

When you slurp it through a straw
it cools down your throat
taste so good with the cherry's
the ice is shredded
there are two cherry's
a few limes
mmmm.....
the glare of noontime
scorches young August petals
rain taps on wild blooms---
and summer cools her flamed heat
to gently fondle morn’s dew

Angry Heart
Silence is peaceful to reflecting souls.
Like a gentle breeze, it soothes.
And cools an angry heart.

Our words seethe like fire;
Crackling as we watch them blaze
Into a burning smoke of anger
Till the quiet of midnight cools,
Extinguishing what we had fed.

We lay together , our bodies salty and weak, the window breeze cools..

Weary
I am weary.
But….
A drink
from your smile
waters my soul,
touches my spirit.
Your breezy way
cools my brow.
Sharing your thoughts
and heart.
I give silent thanks.

blaze in high noon sky

parched trees soak sun spray
sizzling wind scrapes leaning leaves…

Furiously the flurries fly. Attached to wall, me on phone.
My Dad makes tracks, and I wonder at the dashing of snow that cools
Mindless chatter. Aspiring flames leap from chimney, as wind moans.
The wind,
she blows where she whence...
where she wilt,
like a sea of ether,
like an unseen god she whispers,
and cries, and whistles,
and cools my face in summer haze;
She is always somewhere...
the head ovoid is an empty urn
‘tis here last traces of ego burn
soma nectar cools magnetic heat
as bliss beats constantly bleat
celebrating blossoming of our soul
drenched in love mists feeling whole
Winter sky, cools warm hearts
As the chilly winter, screams in horror
Scared hearts, traumatized with terror
Warmed by warmth from a summer hand
The ice of terror, melts by sun
That is a mother's embrace
You are the sunshine
That makes the whole world smile
I am the rain
That cools things down awhile
Together we make a rainbow
That everyone can see
The vibrant colours in the sky
Shout out that you love me

Tears make us feel better
Water cools us forever
Tears of happiness
Water of cleaness
Tears of anger
Water can be a danger
Tears make ponds
Water is pretty ponds
When they come together
They make tears and water
