May we all be blessed with the courage of our convictions
and may that courage be our cornerstone…
allowing us to stand up for what is right
even if that means we stand alone.
Does it seem strange?
Men will sell their souls,
for votes.
Twisting their beliefs
into a rumpled heap.
Lubricated lies,
when they are greased,
slither and slide,
like a snake.
When we find our convictions attacked,
we rely on a deck neatly stacked.
There’s a cool little bias
that will always supply us
with a handy alternative fact.
Today I’m grateful for those who possess the courage of their convictions
whose courage is their cornerstone….
who are not afraid to stand up for what is right…
even if they have to stand alone.
Reflections replete with
reasoning can end deep
rooted convictions and
really show us that in
reality what we have been doing
repeatedly is illogical and needs to be
relooked and maybe
refined.

Jesus prepared me come Judgement Day
Bust the wall of sin
Binding you within
For Him I'll sing

Devil's devices in heaven lost
Because Jesus paid the cost
With a voracious appetite,
You start to consume my soul.
Eating away at my convictions,
And swallowing them whole.
My hunger grows as well,

Yes,
but then aren't all humans when it comes to their

My young daughter
Can take care
Of herself
But she does not

Old age mother

But still she does

I watch her undress
Malevolence unbound
I want to caress
Morals confound
I watch her provoke
sinful depositions
I want to invoke
Lust's convictions
I sit and I stare
reluctantly still
My love, I shall dare
And beauty shall kill
Form:
One can not fight in a war
when one does not believe in what one is fighting for.
One who would rather serve time in a jail cell
than throw their moral convictions to hell
is just as much a hero in my eyes
as any brave veteran recognized.
Emotions to fill the vastness of a lake.
I think of you drowning in that lake.
I offer you my hand, and
lacking the courage
