Paranoia
is
NOT!

An
Obligation,

Fear Pundits'
Convictions.

Truth Shall Be Norished

do not let
your convictions
survive with
squinted eyes
making the
heart flourish but
the spirit dies
that truth shall
be nourished

Bleeding Bones

I took the punches
paying price of my convictions
like a withered rose
my pieces all over this froze
can't resist and can't let you go
I come back even when you bleed my bones

Premium Member Man Without Convictions

Without convictions, a man resembles

an aimlessly sailing boat, in which both the rudder

and

the anchor is missing!

Premium Member THE COURAGE OF OUR CONVICTIONS

May we all be blessed with the courage of our convictions
and may that courage be our cornerstone…
allowing us to stand up for what is right
even if that means we stand alone.

Convictions, Anyone?

Does it seem strange?
Men will sell their souls,
for votes.
Twisting their beliefs
into a rumpled heap.
Lubricated lies,
when they are greased,
slither and slide,
like a snake.

Confirmation Bias

When we find our convictions attacked, we rely on a deck neatly stacked. There’s a cool little bias that will always supply us with a handy alternative fact.

Premium Member DAILY GRATITUDE COURAGE OF THEIR CONVICTIONS

Today I’m grateful for those who possess the courage of their convictions
whose courage is their cornerstone….
who are not afraid to stand up for what is right…
even if they have to stand alone.

Reflections

Reflections replete with
reasoning can end deep
rooted convictions and
really show us that in
reality what we have been doing
repeatedly is illogical and needs to be
relooked and maybe
refined.

Jesus Or Nothing

Still have convictions - though often astray
Jesus prepared me come Judgement Day

Bust the wall of sin
Binding you within

For Him I'll sing
Let joy ring!

Devil's devices in heaven lost
Because Jesus paid the cost

Full

With a voracious appetite,
You start to consume my soul.
Eating away at my convictions,
And swallowing them whole.

My hunger grows as well,
As you slate your thirst.
And you fill my emptiness,
To the point I may burst.

Radiating warmth a personality so bright
Overflowing charm to all in sight.

Courageous heart in every fight
Her spirit strong and convictions right.

Enchanting grace her greatest might
Lover and seeker of God’s Light.

Cradled
to be a man;
with knowledge of wisdom.
True convictions lasting daily
never questioning why or answering
with an unintended motive.
Sacrificial and brave
which was born and
Cradled

Thinking Out Loud

'THINKING OUT LOUD' ~~~~~~~~~ If I could live by the courage of my convictions, only the fittest would survive. Am I a hypocrite? Yes, but then aren't all humans when it comes to their OWN FAMILY!

Wrong Convictions

My young daughter
Can take care
Of herself
But she does not
Whereas my
Old age mother
Can’t take care
Of herself
But still she does
Why so
because of wrong convictions
towards life
that are taught to us

      soft and spoiled
         devices well-oiled

      spoonfed babble
         in protests, they dabble

      convictions untested
         by reality bested

      today’s mudslingers ~
         tomorrow’s right-wingers

rooted convictions and
really show us that
reality has no
resemblence to what we
read in scriptures and books,

Tempted

I watch her undress
Malevolence unbound
I want to caress
Morals confound

I watch her provoke
sinful depositions
I want to invoke
Lust's convictions

I sit and I stare
reluctantly still
My love, I shall dare
And beauty shall kill

One can not fight in a war
when one does not believe in what one is fighting for.
One who would rather serve time in a jail cell
than throw their moral convictions to hell
is just as much a hero in my eyes
as any brave veteran recognized.

Emotions

Emotions to fill the vastness of a lake.
I think of you drowning in that lake.
I offer you my hand, and
  lacking the courage
 of your convictions
 you say no.
 And you wallow
 in your sorrow,
   and the banks overflow.

Sadat

He walked with the dignity of a
kingdom as old as the written word.

The goodness and figure of a father,
he died under the sighs of the pharaohs.

The sacrificing Christ of his convictions,
unflinching, faced the lions of his legions.
