a school bell rings
(I've removed this revision for Catie from the contest and am using the tanka above it on my poetry page!)...

The Drunken Moon
Traditional Haiku :
the harvesting moon
reflects none of its corners
in the empty glass
the setting full moon
reflecting all its corners
in the half-full glass
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
Contemporary haiku :
blood moon
filling wine jars
at dusk
Harvest night
-in a farmer's wine glass
the spinning moon
a crescent moon
its missing piece floating
in lemon soda
Inspired by Skat' s contest Drunken Moon
but not for the contest
Thanks Skat......
