Premium Member Mae West Sensual Frog
Mae West Sensual Frog was the ultimate diva
Who outshone saloon gals like Francine and Steveah
Attended parent teacher conferences in a sexy gown.
Green eyes popped out of new teacher’s head, Mr. Toado Brown....

During the not-so-Great Depression
   FDR practiced self-suppression
'chatting with us' just once a week

During the current pandemic
   Press conferences are epidemic
Pols grabbing every microphone to speak...

Premium Member Report Card Day
Report card day. Conferences with parents.
So many children are surprised when the truth comes out.
The parents act like they have not had four phone calls.
They claim their child never acts like this at home.

They are ladies and gentlemen at home.
They have never told a lie or stolen anything.
They claim this with a straight face
While their children are throwing things at their mothers....

Grandpa
Grandpa’s got engaged,
Giving the family a panic attack.
Ninety four and marrying
A teen age nymphomaniac.
They all got together in one
Of those family conferences
To try and bring grandad
Back down to his senses.
Sex with that woman could be fatal
His oldest daughter said
Grandpa looked amazed
And then sadly shook his head.
It's just one of those things
He said, much to their surprise,
It’s just a fact of life, my dear
If she dies, she dies....

CORONA CHAOS

The Secret Bear
No one knows about the bear.
No one hears him talk to it
of stock market shifts, or corporate strategy
as he travels.
He calls the bear, Michael,
and keeps it in his briefcase.
He is thinking of acquiring a little girl doll.
Secretly he imagines caring for her,
but he is not sure how Michael
will feel about that.
A businessman's life is not easy -
meetings and conferences,
endless details.
Gray streaks at his temple.
He knows he should delegate more,
and Michael agrees....

Premium Member War and Peace
War yields massacre
Peace defends with war
Deaths are unavoidable
To start a war with
Conflicts and quarrels
To ends a war with
Destructions and deaths
To start a peace defendance with
A war too
To end with
Destructions more than peace
No round table
Conferences and compromises
No logics
No truths
No limits
Everything can go
Wild and limitless
Hegemony and democracy
Never compromise
War is the outcome
And deaths and destruction are
Two amongst the spoils of war...

Remote Control
Remembering all the many years
we called on you to drop your fears.
Audits we said you would not fail
if signature were by email.
And invoices in copies sent
would not end up with noses bent.
We screamed paperless for so long
and all it took was a viral song.

You said we’d never work from home
Doing conferences by phone,
or Zoom which we had for a decade.
You stifled every sensible upgrade.

Then once the threat got up in your face
In two weeks the undoable was in place....
