The Good Old Days

During the not-so-Great Depression
   FDR practiced self-suppression
'chatting with us' just once a week

During the current pandemic
   Press conferences are epidemic
Pols grabbing every microphone to speak

No shut down of their productivity (self promoting words). Plus ca change! Well said, Gershon.

I miss those days sometimes. Nice contrast of the old and the new, Gershon. Best wishes.

G'day Gershon … I have often heard that the best thing about the good old days is they're gone, but the sixties and seventies were magical for me. You are correct Gershon, this pandemic has created a social media one as well - thank you Gershon - Lindsay
