Floors for threshing

                                 What sneaks through the colander.

Incessantly my time grows old Repeatedly it turns to gold With every breath I sweetly take The hourglass of life's keepsake Becomes a colander of grace 08/06/2018

Universe Unites and Unties
Black but brilliant, because this BOWL is like the biggest Colander
And through each INDIVIDUAL aperture, the light expresses itself
LORD forbid that any aperture in said Colander will dare compare, -
Laugh in derision at other holes. We are ONE, but in different PLACES...

My New Colander
I bought a brand-new colander
‘Cause mine was at its end.
I’ll bet you think that there’s an error
In the word I’ve penned.

But though I also purchased
(A coincidence, but true)
A calendar today, a fresh new
Colander was due.

The old one fell apart; I hope
The new one does the trick.
To those of you who thought I goofed,
I guess you’re not so slick!...

Where is the place I shall live?
Is it like a colander or sieve?
Is it dim or dull or have a light?
Is it enclosed?  Is it airtight?
After I find myself within,
can I ever come out again?

There is a ceiling and a floor,
two windows and a door.
Those are the only ways out.
Inside you can pace about.
To enter or to exit, friend,
the door is what I recommend....

Frames
Frames hold nature best.

A shafting of light sifts gray marsh and water--
turning past dim hills of hay
solemn in silence.

An essence of earthworms fill the air
as light seeps through a colander of clouds,
catching the ephemeral cattle in a vase of sun.

How gentle is the hand that lightly places
and is gone
as evening rings clear and cool
like the edge of a wine glass....

Perhaps it is weary. In the mental hourglass. I rummage through my recollections. Along the back wall of the speakeasy. when the public voice has spoken Perceptions. Grace from a bird's-eye view. love's twisted rails Smell stolen. We slipped down the rainbow's edge. Above my eyes, I have grey stripes. Grey slits go over my eyeballs.

Megatherium
Thor caught megatherium that was his blunder
Sold it to his wife Sif along with his thunder
Thor's wife Sif was a political piff
Lost the poll and sat on a coral reef
And brewed megatherium in a colander
