Her tangerine wallet
    clashed with her marmalade purse

  Purple pleated pedal-pushers
    just made things much worse

No eye had she for integration
    her colors smacked of segregation...

The Son of the Rain
He is the son of the rain,
the heavy rain-storm and the thunder.
The son of the three suns and the three sparks
which form, when they clashed together.
the six points of the enigmatic star.
He was the book and he who wrote it....

Premium Member Salmon Tulips Shining
Sunshine was pouring
in the wake of black shadows
Tulips clashed with noon
shining, shining, like full moon
Pink orange hues, like sunset

Midday quite breathless
when wandering wind has gone
from fragrance and fire
It'll return later, too late
when sweet petals have folded...

Remember
Do you remember
how the stars shine
above the crystal line
of the horizon
on the darkened Earthly sea?

How the sands whispered
and the birds whistled
as we drifted off
into the sea?

How the waves
clashed against the boat
and we were barely afloat?

How we awoke on
a distant shore…

Do you remember?...

The Free Verse At That Night
The two charged patches of clouds clashed in the hills
The flash bared the curved falls
The trees to blossom got taller
A mad rush for the raindrops
The night too short to accommodate the long tale

Summer Rain
All night our room was outer-walled with rain.
Drops fell and flattened on the tin roof,
The rain rattled and clashed,
Some people say rain is just water.
But to me, rain is like precious drops of water
With your brightness;
And the words you whispered to me
Torches against the wall of cool, silver rain!...

Remember Serbian Fields
The storms are lifting now,
where once the auburn horizons clashed with dark,
where mother led her children to drink,
where father broke the moistened dirt,
where I spoke of the bent little days;
there are no storms that we can touch,
nor the candle beside our bed; there are no monsters
that I am aware, I only know there could have been....

Indian History
The Indians are Najavo
The army says "GO"

"Go to the reservation,
they are for you preservation"

Wovoka started the Ghost Dance
To pull Indians out of their trance

"We will fight for reform,
and we will not conform"

Custer discovered gold,
in the land so cold

Forces clashed at the Little Bighorn
A battle full of scorn...

Taunting Tampered Trail
sane story squashed
worn wanky clashed
wielded wits flung
leering lanky lust
strained sanity snogged
pilfering punctured pawn

voluptuous vie wept
cremating callous crest
bruised biddings belched

pruned passion puked
dark dribbles drooled
clutching crazed clue

wedged wiles wailed
taunting tampered trail.

The King and the Fool
THE KING AND THE FOOL
by H.B.Ussach

Folks talk of the long war between a king and a fool,
   when peasants and pawns clashed to see one rule;
From pre-cast castle keeps company banners fly
    like medieval flags of old,
And from ketchup-stained battlefield parking lots
scavenged not by buzzards but by gulls,
heralds cry: "Have it Your Way" and "Billions Sold."...

Xvi: Siren At Midnight
Innocent weavers
Sat still mourning –
The siren heralded
At midnight
The emergency swords in the rafter
Like a lone early morning cock.

The forest was a terror spot
Helter-skelter in blood-discolouration
Marking a nest of the free?
Terror & anger clashed
Again & again
In man rearing the seeds of the night:
Shrewd pebbles of inviolable intents
And mutilated feathers in a battered nest!...

Prisimed
prisimed your blues seep through delicate cracks developed by time and hue a brush technicolor of triumph and failure splashed and spotted in a weighted night of stars falling down backdrops of tomorrow it's all not black and white true or untrue love filters dust and all a departed dance silhouettes in the stillness clashed where sepia warms her chill

Askance
To look askance,
is a real weird body stance,
thought meeting the eye,
for each staring eye,
conveyed violence of sorts,
sight rays clashed and hurt bad,
but then looking askance,
is furtive and shy,
sometimes remorseful,
and at some others hiding plain lies,
how did eye movements got into reflexes,
I wished it was not so much on its own,
and rather in my control,
so that I can look askance,
when I normally now do not....

The Mast
I stand tall and proud upon this ship
Never have I wavered on any trip.
If you listen you will hear me in the wind,
speaking to you again and again.
Stories of a ragging sea,
while the fisherman worked below me.
Lightening and thunder clashed in the sky,
but I held firm against the tide.
Sometimes the sky was so blue,
and we would sail straight through.
Yes I am the Mast upon this vessel it’s true,
Sail with me and I will protect you.

Clash of Titans
Stars glare at the twigs,
  darkness begins to settle
Forlorn dreams of stars,
  moonlight covering them with clouds.
As clouds express its thoughts,
  Moon strengthens its mettle
Dreamy stars infuriated,
  with flares, bashed clouds.

Stars and Moon clashed,
  deleted dreams covered by ash
As clouds watch over,
  comets ignited so fast.
Dwindling down are sprinklers of dust,
  speeding with lash.
Titans collided,
Clouds wept like a torn outcast....

Crusade
CRUSADE

The crusader brandished his stiff sword
sharpened
didn´t want
but beheaded idols
to liberate his inner temple
swift and passionate was his riding
saturated
didn´t want
but unpaved the temples
to remember the first stone
and had peace

on the way he clashed spades
bled
sparked spades
was blinded by light
floated in the void
and saw colors
earthly shades
and then kinetic spatial explosion
of unknown prisms
crossing cross crusaders
irreligious and revering...
