Maroon leaves loop the skyline's soft shine,
claret pearls on the sun's neckline.

The family left Santa some claret
But Rudolph would not eat the carrot
No vegan, not never
He spat out a feather
Because he’d just eaten their parrot

With the part of her claret lips
my will now subjugate
Disguised within her eyes lust hides
A flick of her eyelash
clothes no just merely cloth
Ripped from burning drowning skin
Let me taste your air
withing my lungs
writhing liquid shores
i wiil be your whore
and ask for nothing more
Crimson or claret she just can't decide
Red or deep pink her mind won't be made
A different scheme colour could be the answer
A yellow, a green or a floral pattern
She's so indecisive, I hear her call
"What should I go for", so I make a retort
"Whatever you like, you choose the paint
they're only your nails, for god's holy sake"
The last rose of summer is rapidly fading on the vine.
'Twas once as brilliant as a splendid claret Bordeaux wine.
Alas, autumn frosts hath wrought their deadly sting.
Thankfully, another will bring me pleasure come next spring!

Outside my window,
the trees have begun to burn,
Fire set by Nature
in tints of scarlet auburn;
Flames have been kindled
in woods that blaze and sizzle,
Vermilion red leaves,
like claret embers dazzle;
As I stand and watch,
the foliage descends down,
It's like a fire Fall
in burgundy and brown.

I pegged them out on my clothes line,
Like puppets on a string.
Those baggy pants fit for a clown,
Such laughter they did bring.
That claret shirt, high as a kite,
And three sheets to the wind.
They will dry out, to my delight,
My wet suit it has sinned.

No. 3 clothesline.
Let me feel your lines.
No matter what you do
Your beauty will stay true
A radiance that stands out from the rest
With claret trellis on
So fair to gaze upon
Elegance and class in style of dress
And if your hair is short
I'm still here to report
Your splendor goes beyond what words can say
You're beyond the galaxy
In terms of what I see
You might not feel the same but that's okay
She glances
From afore does she stare
Poised passive without motion
Petals grace and glance in glimmer
Dans la roseraie de la vue
Attractive allure into light's lust
Marinating morning's delectable dew
Entwined is she in the rose's vine
Flowered fluorescence enclosed eloped
Claret joues et l'éclat rose
From the bud doth she now call
Flowered glances doth pollen pose
She glances...
Coeur brisé
from the mountain's edge
tangerine tipped trees
aglow with the rise
of crimson skies
shine golden
i stand beneath
the dance of leaves
in the hues
of october's breeze
shivering
in its foggy breath
watching
as the trees
undress
stripping
layers of my soul
i fall
emotionless
bare
as death
piles
around me
in bloodless drops
i stand
in the pools
of its claret
bleeding myself dry
as i snap
like branches
through the weight
of life
Tanned bright sienna leaves float down gently,
Yellow and red and brown are aplenty;
Everywhere I go I'm drenched in leaf rain,
One by one they fall, all over again;
Raking up the fallen leaves, I'm dancing,
Along with the wind that's slow romancing;
Whistling with the breeze blowing through the trees,
Vermillion and burgundy weave with ease;
Claret auburn shades I see everywhere,
Autumn is here with its rubicund fair.

If you give a little weasel,
a nice new painting easel
and a jerry can of diesel,
and you tell him he will freeze -
will he retire to paint a fire
or burn the easel with the diesel
and bake a nice brie cheese?
If a ferret and parrot
have imbibed a bit of claret,
and you give the first a carrot,
and the second diamond carats,
would they see things as disparate,
finding merit in the carrot,
or would the parrot try to wear it,
unaware of its great peril,
and turn the ferret feral?
