Surrounded by clowns
In a circus she's running
Wearing no make-up
You become the misplaced one
Flagged as a mere bystander
Listen to poem:
Intended upended
suspended
upside-down
on trapeze by knees,
is caught,
catcher-clung
flung over
and righted,
as it is to be
Like a White Face Clown
Others hold in high regard
Around and around
My merry-go-round won't stop
To let me be a Sad Face
By being a poet, I am bread
food of life hope
for being free
I'm a circus, a laugh party...
My spirit’s laughter
Pirouettes with glee at the
Antics of my cats.
Feline acrobats tickle
My amygdala…ha…ha!
Oh man oh man look at that dog
Look at him Go!
He's swinging he Flying
is he a dog or a plane
oh no he's falling
What do I do?
Life
is a
circus act-
Where animals
dance,
a
world of
fantasy
in whick lovers
fly.
Ekphrasis/tribute to art of Marc Chagall
there's a bird circus
fluttering, chirping, singing
ferris wheels with wings

A lady who frequents downtown
Wears a frown like a circus clown
One day she fell
And bloody hell
She wore a big smile (upside down)!
Time's been away
Really hiding,
Rains in the air,
The circus of clouds announce that,
But the hies movement
tell what time it is.
Listen to poem:
We spied a clown with a grin,
With a smile from nose to chin.
He'd laugh and he'd play,
In a creepy way,
That scared the bravest within!
there once was a cook kangaroo
who escaped an animal zoo
but a bread bubble gin
did fortunately win
head chef at a circus revue.
feeling tariffic
a bozo of a baby ~
slapping us silly
a three ring circus
waging war with a carney ~
the best show on earth
defying death
shibboleth
denied breath...
no more tingling
brothers ringling
no coins jingling
baraboo
now bare of
cheers too!
Circus acrobat
risk professional
he is always
jumping without
safety net ....
In life this is me... !
found a shapely leaf
in parking lot with a stem
at her blessed feet
her hips a bit out of joint
her circus smile still in place
Aerial acrobatics at the circus.
They have everyone in oohs and ahhs.
One slip and fall ~ it’s all over.
Broken bones won’t be the worst of it.
a clown
in town
purpose
circus
jam-packed
in fact
a mime
at nine
fun night
done right
i’m a gas leak
in your wood house
bound to go up in flames
becoming too weak
with you a circus mouse
layers of too many games
?
A grump and a grouse ran around town.
Griping and groaning, whining around.
So full of guff
We’d had enough.
Sent them to a circus to be happy clowns.
O circus, circus
the ox and his Fergus.
The whale took a bite of the moon.
The carnivore gasped to see that chomp.
And the pig civilized the baboon.
The clumsy crazy clown with the frown
had no loud lasting laughs from the crowd
slipped as he chased the sly swift dog
around the round ring with rainbows.
Shakespeare, who called the world a stage,
was a most insightful bard and sage,
but this clown, with a smile and smirkus,
says it's much more like a circus.
