Premium Member Boomerang
You are my love
You take me to new lands
You send my soul afar
       Chucking it, like a boomerang
Only to return to some sweet sunlit grasp.
It has changed as I have.
The world moves as I move.
We revolve and evolve in unison....

Carrousel At Night
Crazing clown face rises
above the four way road
chucking chunky Iron coins
down its comedic throat
roller-coaster amusement
carrousel at night
silently spinning
moving against the slight
wind, pushing everything
along its shy way...

SHIRKING THE GHERKIN

You could splice it, or dice it
Mayonnaise it up and nice it
Alas, one thing is for certain
She will as shirk the gherkin

SPIDERS NEVER FORGET AN ADDRESS

There is just no use ever chucking them out of the back door
Or, even try to take the little blighters, further down the road
Be sure to hide your letters; so they don't get your postcode
Because with Sat Nav in hand they'll be back, you can be sure

Whowhenia
when I
a rock-chucking stick-slasher

patch-monger
was

there was a waterless
		well

where we would await sprites and goblins in ambush

shoe-lace lariats
piles of rock for cannonade

this and all all the angels
at bay

for there is nothing gay grisly meaner than

restless
idleness

caked with efflorescing dandelions
raging raiding sun...

Biking In the Rain
Splish, splash, splosh
Can't see your tears when in the rain
Drizzle and downpour awash
Raining cats and dogs insane

Spitting, torrential, dribble in raindrop town
Bucketing down, chucking down
Pouring down, pelting down
In raindrop town

The sky flashes all around you
Cycling in the rain at its best
Miserable at its worst, thru and thru
I enjoy cycling sooo much, me at·test

During bucketing down, pouring down
All along, riding in raindrop town...

Pre-Replacements
I bought a new pillow
But you may behold,
In back of my closet,
Where I hid the old.

My chair pads were faded;
I purchased a set.
Did I ditch the first ones?
I haven't quite yet.

My glasses, old-fashioned,
Looked blah on my face.
My new ones sit next to
The old model's case.

Replacements look spiffy,
But part of the deal
Is chucking the old stuff
That's lost its appeal.

If I beat my spouse
To the Grim Reaper's door,
Tossing my pre-replacements
Will be his first chore....
