Of all the chimes, it was the third,
And this I well recall--
It was the saddest sound I've heard,
And the loneliest of all.

aspens shiver in the cold …
coyotes flee the wind

Wind chime
Patiently waiting
For a nudge
Swaying in the breeze
Musical enchantment
Delightfully

Bamboo wind chime song
A soft gentle melody
Breath across wood pipes
changes the tune and tempo

Petals chime in porcelain white~
a secret vow beneath the leaves.
Their fragrance wafts through morning light~
tiny nuptials on vines.
Heard Trump Chime In
Trump is probably past his prime
When climbing did fall off a dime
What once used to be ready made
No longer around can he parade
In again we have heard him chime.

I sit in the sun like a happy giant cat
My dogs have found shade
A tiny chime dings in a pretty way
Dogs sleep through this dainty sound
Does it bring a faerie to their dreams?
I will ask them later
PARODY
pithy never uncouth with a short bitter truth
perhaps ironic & or a little sardonic
a satire of which many never will tire
'
Like a wind chime,
my mouth makes sounds
at slightest opportunity
Its music changes
depending on the
feelings being expressed
It quite often
lands me in trouble
due to misunderstanding
Wish it would keep quite

Today’s Bible study, is on the apocalypse,
celestial feelings enhance my emotions.
The breeze is soft on the wind chimes lips,
affecting me like some night time potions.
I hear your voice when the breeze blows
My wind chimes ring out the song
That stirs my heart, for my heart knows
Of whom and for whom it longs
Our frequencies match perfectly
In sync is our melody
Two as one in unison
The song of you and me
At midnight sharp a bell tolls,
but there's no tower near.
The notes float and then melt
within the crypt of sleep.
I listen to the chime in dreams
that linger without seeing.
Everything is normal in morning,
except for what I still hear.
Waving night
Tales of my dream flight
Musical horizon and the moon
Whirling in ecstasy, dancing I’m to its tune
One with the nature, this time is so opportune
Making best of this shimmering time
This night is of my prime
Me a chime
Irfana Ali Bhat
Tick tock goes the clock
as i let my thoughts go through me
time goes by in a blink of an eye
as my thoughts keep talking to me
its six past ten don't listen to them
it only makes it longer
in every second of every hour
their only getting louder
The Truth sublime.' I found has chime..
With ouch! In fact they really rhyme.!
Metaphorically so closely twine' just
Let out (that fact) you will surely find '
That many kicks and blows ensue.!
And the verbal barage? Well its??
Well' almost (Untrue!)
The child within us weeps at marble headstones
pallid wilting flowers dark plume wreaths scatter
harpsichord of heartbeats waltz on grey day plot
wind chime soul petals float past afterlife clouds.

Please accept this little token.
I am sorry I forgot your birthday.
This little gift’s for you to open
To remind you, again, of that day.
Hang it where a breeze will blow
Try the garden or find a pine.
Relax on a blanket in the warmth below.
Be quiet and listen, for its delicate chime.
wind chime
wind chime rings, swings, brings, blessings: my best bliss
dad’s gift: the peerless treasure...
erasing evil.

Evening bells chime in the steeple
Merry villagers doff their workday masks
Like schoolchildren, not yet grown-up people
Untethered from their joyless tasks
One's a druggist; another a clerk
All count the minutes 'til five
Matters not where they work
The hour of freedom's arrived
The month has ended and paydays here
for all who waited their monthly cheer
When some will say they're always broke
when spending money's daily hope
That those who spend in just one day
will say that money's meant for play
When debts go by for passing time
and governed earned are parties chime
Christmas around the world
Church Organs play
Rise and Shine
Joy on high
Blessing on impact
Cocoa hot
Warmth within
Fireplace reflection
Happy in full control
A day to embrace one another
A Christmas holiday that comes once a year
Inspiration to always preserver
Reason for the Season
North Star birth
Let there always be peace on Earth.
Poor in stock yet rich in spirit,
my clock does bow and sway
In rags and tatters all unstitched,
with joy do I still pray
My flesh is weak, my home now burnt
just embers to remind
Within this trouble and burning ash,
on the hour
—my heart still chimes

‘From The Book Of Prayers’
The giant blue and green dragonfly,
with its broken wing,
tries madly to escape
its silver cage.
The poor old thing doesn't believe
escape from its sturdy ring
is an impossible reshape
of its once golden age.
I turn away with a sigh,
realizing with a sharp sting,
that I, too, am caught in a dreamscape
of impotent rage.
